  2. Custom app notification sound volume

    I need to hear message notifications at full volume even if system volume settings are set to low. The Google Messages app uses media volume, which doesn't always work well for messages. I need an app with custom sound level.

  4. Textra keeps causing my phone to beep periodically for no apparent reason. The only way to stop the beeps is to turn off Textra notification

    Please tell me why periodically Texta causes my phone to beep even though I do not have a new text msg. To turn off the beeping, I have to turn off notifications from Textra which then causes me not to get notified of new text msgs.

  5. Show whether contact is texting from personal or work phone

    I have contacts in my address book with. both personal and work numbers. Sometimes I have to message them to only their personal number or only their work number. it would be useful if the message thread view made it clear whether the recent messages are from the work number or the personal number.

  6. Suggestion for implementation of variety of tabs

    Add tabs like personal, finance, primary, social etc in the main screen so as to systematically manage sms in respective categories.

    I'd really like to have more screen colors—a tone in between the dark and light colors or a more neutral grey background. The dark tone is a rather warm grey, which is aesthetically pleasing, but clashes with cool Gboard tones.

    It would be fabulous to have a way to snooze all notifications for a certain amount of time - 1 hour, 4 hrs, a week, etc.

  12. Who Sent Last Message - Main Page Indicator

    On the main page, where you see the last sent message of each correspondence, there should be an indicator of who sent the last message (me or them). You you could add an arrow icon for example.

  14. Confirmation dialog on blacklist

    When using the popover chat box, and going to the options menu, the "blacklist" option is right next to "open in app". Accidentally clicking the "blacklist" option will immediately blacklist the person without any type of confirmation. I have done this accidentally a couple times and missed multiple messages from friends due to them being added to the blacklist accidentally.

    Both my wife and I are Premium users. We bought the app because we wanted to support an app that we liked. But then we ran into a problem. The app can quickly take up a lot of storage space. We want to be able to change the default storage location to the phones SD card.     please implement an backup option for messages. I know there are many other options, but I somehow trust your app more than just some random SMS backup app.

  19. PC Client

    It would be amazing if there was a PC client for Textra so that I could log into Textra on my PC and it would show all my texts from my phone as well as allow me to send new messages. All messages sent/received could still use the phone, just that the client would show it on PC.

    I would be honestly willing to pay an additional fee on top of the ad-free cost if this came to light.
