  1. Some carriers require a prefix to all messages for delivery reports

    O2 and GiffGaff in the UK require a prefix on any SMS that you wish to get delivery reports for. Please support a custom prefix that will automatically be added to any sent message.
    The prefix in this instance is *0# and a space.

  5. ignore do not disturb feature

    I'm not sure if I'm just missing it, but a feature where I could allow certain contacts to still give notifications on do not disturb or when the phone is on silent would be cool. This is a thing on the iphone but I cant remember what it was called for the life of me, and I know "ignore do not disturb" is a feature already on the stock samsung messager and most other ones. That would be really useful (:

  6. You can disable smart reply

    Go to settings in your phone settings (not the Tetra app). Type in 'pop up'. Then press 'smart pop-up view'. Uncheck it for Textra.

  8. this is the 21st century. add other members to an existing group.

    How hard can it be, for crying out loud, to add other members to an existing group message? Nobody seems to be able to do it. It would instantly be the top group messaging app available.

    This suggestion / request is about as simple as it gets:
    I love the app, but in terms of how many unique symbols we can assign to separate contacts, your selection is very, very limited, surprisingly.

    Pleeeeaaaase, give us at least another 15-20 choices for symbols. Past those 20 symbols, a great idea would be to just add simply the option to assign an uppercase letter as a notification symbol. That's an extra 26 right there. The symbols are ultimately way more important to me, but it'd be great to have even more options.

    It would be great if there was a toggle to automatically strip Location information from a picture when sharing through MMS! That would be a killer option in today's security based world!

  14. A small but good feature request

    Add Blacklist option in the notification actions. It will be easy for us to blacklist a message straight away from the notification window and hence no need to open the App. Thank you.

  19. DPI Settings

    App needs a way to compensate for different screen resolutions. looks great when screen is set to WQHD but everything is obnoxiously huge when screen is set to 1080P for battery savings. It would be nice to be able to scale it

  20. use .PNG files for picture messages?

    Not sure if this is possible on Android, but could Textra use .PNG files for text messaging? Specifically I'd like the images I send to have a transparency layer. When I send images from the bitmoji app through Textra , they have a white background. When my fiance sends bitmojis from her iPhone they have transparent backgrounds.
