Just use the camera and screen ad it is on my phone like other apps do (and like Chomp)
The current camera embedded in the app shows an extra small screen. When expanded vertical, it displays elongated images, etc. Thanks!

multiple sims
i have 2 sim cards on my phone and given that the button to select the SIM and the send button are next to each other, i occasionally by accident change the SIM card before i send the text, resulting in roaming charges. Can you redesign that, eg, long pressing the send button would give the option to choose a SIM card.

Reminder/Alarm on specifik text in message thread
Please introduce the option to set an alarm or reminder on a specifik text message. Simply pretend to resend the message to yourself later. Example, i receive notification about that my trash bin will be emptied tomorrow morning. i like to get this message again in the evening when i am home. then i can act on the message when i receive it again or hear the alarm.
other example, my WiFe ask me to buy groceries at my way home. she send me message about this in the morning. i like to be reminded later in the day when…2 votes -

Setting long messages
Thank you for the possibility to turn long messages into more sms. But there is no possibility to specify, what the long message is. Especially I need to turn those messages, that are longer than the standard one - 160 chars without diacriticks.

Stop Inadvertent Deletions
Have a setting that either prevents the deletion of messages and that allows for them to be restored. Routinely, slight touches threaten to delete messages. I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY DO NOT LIKE THAT. IT IS NOT A DESIRABLE "TIME-SAVING" FEATURE TO INSTANTLY DELETE MONTHS OF A CONVERSATION !!!!

Listen to Your User's Ideas!
There are literally thousands of users asking for a spam filter.
Google messages has one. Every email service has one. I have my undergrad students create spam filters as homework assignments. It wouldn't be challenging for Textra to add one.
Here's an idea...Stop ignoring your User's ideas!

No signatures on message to SMS short codes
when sending to an SMS short code (one of those numbers that's not a phone number, used by services and businesses), suppress the signature by default, at least as an option. It's a pain to have to start a reply, stop, go to Textra, find the conversation, customize it. I can't imagine that most people would ever want to send a signature to such numbers.

Repeat notifications
Please add the option to repeat notifications at different frequency: e. g. 2, 5, 10, 15, 30 minute intervals or allow user to choose a number between 2 & 30 minutes. Currently it is set at 2 minutes which can get annoying when you cannot use the phone for a couple of hours but want to be reminded to answer the text when you can.

Long hold to "like" a text
Instead of having to send back a message or a thumbs up emoji, I'd like to be able to long hold on a message and then click a like button or thumbs up button from that

Available bubble appearance
The available bubble appearance has too much paragraph indentation. This makes the SMS message long. When I set the font size to 115%, the effect of extending the message (down) is even greater. This makes it difficult to read. The paragraph indentation should be smaller.

Dynamic screen
No possibility of dynamic screen (text) magnification. We are talking about magnification by touching with fingers. This is useful for people with weaker eyesight. The competition has such a function.

Group
Make a group tab. There's a lot of contacts on my phones (eg. friends, family, co-workers, etc.) This will make it more convenient for me since I have a lot of contacts and it gets annoying having to find a specific contact.

Replying to messages
being able to swipe on a message to create a reply (like on Discord, Google chat, stuff like that!). it would make conversations in private chats and group chats much easier!
