  1. Delete selected messages

    I'd like to see a way to select all the messages to be deleted but then un- select ones that you want to retain. It's too hard to do this individually. it's either all or none.

  3. checking with users before changes

    got the update saying Google determined how notifications are to be colored. Textra realized to this question that they decided to make the changes. how about reaching out to users through a text to get our vote? without users, there is no app..

  5. textra ads show up everyone after upgrade. I have to uninstall and install every time.

    my pro upgrade goes away every time u guys do an upgrade. Then I get ads agian. happens every time u guys do an update

  6. SMS messages generator from list and schedule

    We think about people we care for, but our lifes are so busy we often don't have time to send them messages. Can you please include the following feature:
    * The user can create pools of messages (for ex: lovemsg="love you","miss you","wish i could hold you now" and friendmsg="hope you are well","just want to say hi" etc.

    • Then the user can select some contacts for which to apply a pool, and a schedule to send a random message from the pool.
      For example: John Doe : send from list msgfriend once a week.

    • Ideally it would send at random interval…

  11. Mute v. Archive

    One of the best features is the easy Mute/Unmute option for incoming text messages.

    It would be amazing if you can please make a "Archive" section for which we can send all messages into, including "Muted" messages.

    Further, any new sms-texts received from "Muted" contacts remain in the archived folder without showing up in main section. This would be the ultimate privacy feature for those wanting to keep some conversations somewhat hidden, yet don't want to download risky, poorly-spelled third party "calculator" apps disguised as a secret sms app.

  12. Associate Unreceivable MMS

    I cannot see who is sending an MMS during times of roaming without data. All I get is a notif telling me "can't receive MMS" and "MMS timeout".
    Shouldn't I at least be able to see who is sending these messages in a chat bubble?? Seems pretty basic, but it might be a problem with my phone/carrier and I didn't get a response from my message to the "help" section.

  17. Navigation Bar - Night Mode

    Textra is one of the only few app I have remaining that doesn't change the color of the navigation bar on my device when it's set to night mode. Hopefully this is something that can be easily added/implemented.

  18. respond without unlocking

    Used to be able to do it and it got taken away. Chomp sms can do it in the current OS version. That would make this the best sms app ever.

  19. Scroll option for message box

    Instead of the text message box expanding upward and covering the screen as the message gets longer maybe have an option for it to stop expanding after a certain point and have a scroll bar to see what you have typed so far for that message.
