  1. Click on phone number to send SMS

    Currently when there is a phone number in a received message, clicking on it dials the number. But sometimes I want to send SMS. Make it an option- dial/send SMS/ask, so people can control what happens when they click on the number.

    let blacklist shall be linked to phone no. or email if possible..bcoz when i install in another device with same account its not backed up & have to agsain blacklist all..which is annoying

  5. Ability to block unknown sender

    The ability to block SMS from unknown recipients would be a great help. Scammers often send a private message and ask to correspond via Gmail. Blocking these would make my life a lot better

  7. Deleting Threads Causes Old Messages to Resync into App

    When deleting a message thread, the thread will delete and then reappear in the app with only messages from my side of the conversation (generally my last 4 messages to the recipient(s)). This happens more than 50% of the time, has happened with every version of Textra I've used and is now ALSO bringing back my messages from other conversations, ie: I delete a thread, it comes back with 4 of my messages, I manually go into the thread and delete the 4 messages, my threads from OTHER PEOPLE reappear in the app and I have to go in to…

    It's massively frustrating how I have to type full email addresses even though they are in my contacts already. Auto-fill please! Texting to email addresses has been a thing for at least 20 years.

    There is currently no option to call someone using 2nd SIM card. Even if I'm messaging someone on my 2nd SIM, Textra still will use 1st SIM giving me no choice when I want to call someone via Textra contact details

  11. Media text routing

    I love being able to go to the settings in a specific conversation and looking at the MEDIA only in that conversation. But there's been many times where i wish i could go to that point in the conversation by choosing a specific media file from that list.

  12. Search option within text conversations

    Currently there's an option for searching the entire inbox but it would be great if you could search specifically within a conversations. This is possible in my native text app and I've seen it in other 3rd party text apps. Please add this feature.

  13. Schedule unread message reminder

    Mark a message as unread and set the reminder/notification for a later time when I know I will be available. If another message comes in the meantime, the scheduled notification can be set to go away or reman set, based on the user's settings.

  15. Edit group text recipients

    It would be great to edit the list of recipients on a group text. It could technically create a new message if necessary, but many times I have started to type a group text only to realize I left someone out or needed to remove someone. It's a hassle to go back and re-create the group each time that happens.

    Please add a way to view a list of the numbers that have been blacklisted, without needing to receive a message from those numbers. If I remember correctly this feature existed a few years ago but now it's gone

  20. Stash draft texts mid conversation

    You know when you're texting someone and you think of something you need to say but they respond before you finish writing your text, so now you have to respond to their text but don't want to rewrite everything when you finally get a chance to change the topic? Maybe it's just me, but I'd love to have a feature where I could draft a text message in a conversation and then stash it while I continue that same conversation. Then later I'd just pop out the stashed text and send it.
