  2. Add a feature of "sms backup and restore"

    I love textra app. But there is one feature i miss and the feauture is important for me. And i think the feature is necessary for all, like me. The feature is "SMS backup and restore" setting. When i factory reset my phone, each time i have to use another app for sms backup and restore. I think "SMS Backup and Restore" is a necessary feature for all. And "Sms backup and restore" feature can be done by, connecting with Google drive or drophbox or using own server of textra. Thanks

  4. Make it possible to open large write box

    When write a very long SMS, it's would be nice if it's possible to open a large window on the screen so the keyboard are in the button and the write window fill the rest of the screen over the keyboard (see how GO SMS Pro have made this).

  5. Make popup window on screen

    Please make a popup window direct on the screen, when receiving a SMS, so it's possible to read an answer a SMS without any push to open the received SMS (see how GO SMS Pro have made it).

  7. Turn off Notification Sound

    Basically, add an option in the settings to turn off the notification sounds for all messages until turned back on. I would find this feature useful because I would like to turn my notifications off at work due to how many messages I frequently receive. Normally, I would turn my phone volume down, but I've lost several phones at work due to not being able to hear them ringing when calling from another phone to help locate it. So if a feature like this is added, I would be able to silence text notifications while leaving my phone ringing volume…

  8. Texts Sorted By Date/Pinned Contacts

    It would be nice to have a setup where text messages are displayed in sections according to date and pinned contacts.

    For example. The first section header would be pinned contacts, the second section header would be unread messages, the third section header would be texts received today, the next section yesterday's text and so on.

    It's really hard noticing the unread messages. It would be really helpful if they were shown in bold text or different colours.

  10. Turn on screen on silent

    When I'm texting at work it is very annoying if my phone is constantly ringing for sms or buzzing on vibrate. I have "turn on screen" turned off because of past experiences when my phone dismissed my notifications or repyed with nonsense when in pocket...
    But when I'm in office I have phone in front of me on the table and I see if something is going on. Constantly turning on and off this function "turn in screen" is a bit redundant when you can only add on more option to textra setting fot "turn on screen" on silent. :-)…

  11. Quick copy code button

    I get SMS texts all the time with codes to log into various accounts. when the codes are short, it's easy to quickly memorize the number but for those longer codes, it would be great if there was a "copy code" button.

    As of now if your text color is black then dark bubble colors are hard to see. Smart with white text and light bubble colors. Having a dynamic text color would be a big help.

  14. Liked messages

    Please implement an option where the user is allowed to squelch messages from iPhone users who "Like" the messages sent. If a notification is sent that they simply liked a message, that's fine. However, it is very annoying to see the whole message printed out again in quotes.

  17. When contact open play receive sound

    I am often in a conversation with a person and working at the same time. The idea is to have Textra play the receive notification when the specific contact is open to let me know they replied/responded. If it were not for the vibration (which I do not always hear), I would no know they replied.

  18. One time password should be displayed in bold like how true caller had implemented

    OTP messages which we receive from banks etc should be displayed in bold. So that we can use the OTP, without having to open the full message.
