Add in iOS texting features
Features like the ability to like a message or picture and whatnot. For instance if someone sends you a message, you can react to it and have it send a message back saying: Loved "(Insert message here)"

Determine individual conversation storage.
Textra can take up a ton of storage space on your phones HD when utilizing the setting to keep a certain number of SMS or MMS. This setting easily can inflate the storage.
By toggling the setting, it globally changes every conversion. Instead of trying to determine which conversations to set individually. There should be a screen which shows conversation sizes which would help a ton to iron out certain storage issues.
Love the app, I've supported and have been a premium user for years.

Additional notification symbols.
Option for letter(s) and numbers in a unique font or format (within a circle, etc) in the status bar/notification area in addition to the symbols currently offered.

open last conversation
it would be great if you could set it so that when Textra opens it would automatically go to the last conversation you had. That way you don't have to keep tapping three times to get back to the conversation that you were having

Automatic Forwarding
Love to have an option inside the conversation menu/settings that allow a user to forward messages (that were sent on the day/week/month etc. only) to another person or group.
It would have a setting that would allow this to automatically send every day/week/month etc. until it is changed or turned off.
It would prevent a user from forwarding messages to another contact or group manually.

Compose to Texting Group Names
the ability to compose to a group name EVEN IF the named group thread has been deleted. it appears you are able to compose to a named group by typing the name of the group IF the named group thread isn't deleted. it seems odd that you can't compose to a named group thread if the thread is deleted since the name persists and appears when a message is received by the group of people in the thread

gif search should be able to use regular search expressions
when I search for something that has two words, like Bob Einstein, I want "Bob Einstein" only. not Einstein. not a dozen other Bob's. in other search engines using quotes makes it one item. not on yours. another common expression is (-). when I minus something I want to exclude those results. your current gif search feels like using AOL search in 1996

Wi-Fi support/tutorials
Just make sure all features that work over mobile data also work over Wi-Fi or when mobile data is off. My phone's default messaging app sends most content with mobile data off, so why shouldn't the app I'm replacing it with?
Interactive tutorials for common issues such as MMS would be extremely helpful either upon the initial installation of this app or in a settings tab/support section specifically for troubleshooting.

Easier Contact Info Access
We should be able to long or short press on profile icon to access contact info i.e. address email etc. instead of having to go through 3-4 screens. Thank you!

Stop double tap from sending message
Hello
Sometimes I double tap by mistake and it sends the message even though I have a 9 second delay set up. Can we fix this or give some options please?1 vote
