  3. "Muffle" group messages

    What bothers me about group messages is that my phone continues to notify me with Each message from Each person. I can mute notifications for the group, but then I forget to unmute, or to check it periodically.

    Instead, I'd like to be able to set group message notifications to a new kind of state; lets call it "muffled". What I would want to happen to a muffled group, is for it to prevent multiple notifications within a specific window for that group. I would select the group, set the notifications to "muffled", and then set the muffled timing to…

  5. Message sort by Network time option

    create a setting that allows me to have my messages sorted by Network Time received vs. Device time received. I have Sprint, and love the app because makes up for many of sprints pitfals like splitting long SMS... but sometimes my messages are delayed coming in by the network and received out of order. the app does let me See both the network and device time received but if they could be Ordered by Network time it would make it less confusing so I don't have to read texts out of order when Sprint delays them.

  10. Remove "Textra" Word

    I know its your brand but it's distracting to just put it on top of messages list. Could you remove and put "Messages" instead?

  13. Auto Away Message

    I think textra needs an away message, not only can you switch it on if you are in class or sleeping etc... but also if you are just feeling anti-social. "Hey, I know I'm posting to social media, but I'm exhausted from human interaction. I still love you, but I'll get back to you in 3-5 business days." That just seems a lot nicer than ignoring someone.

    I know you have a drive mode one, but I really think this is helpful!

  14. Clear search after adding user to new group text

    When I create a new group text, and I'm searching for a contact, after I add the contact I searched for, the search field should be cleared so I can start searching for the next contact to add.

    Currently I have to clear the search, which closes the keyboard, and then I have to set focus to the search area again before I can search for the next contact.

  18. Email your conversation like a print sheet, instead of having multiple screenshots.

    You just got into a heated argument with someone.

    You know from past experiences that they like to lie and make up stories about what you said or sent to them.

    Now I know the Textra app has options under their settings, to back up all SMS & MMS.
    However; you might want & need those messages saved straight away or need to pass them onto someone else before anything happens to them or your phone.

    I don't wanna get reports for everyone messages. but sometime, I need report for my working conversation. would be nice to add option " delivery report" to contact settings.
