Add lock after X minutes
Lock the textra app if it hasn't been used within a certain amount of time (signal/silence like feature).
Would be awesome if we could authentificate back using the fingerprint sensor instead of entering a password or pin.

Emoji Sections
It would be nice to side scroll between the different emoji groups, instead of having to scroll all the way to the bottom to the "flags" emoji group.

Silence notifications for single sender
I still need to be able to see the messages in Textra (not going to blacklisted) but I dont want to be notified every time I get a text or part of a group text from a single sender. (Not just using n the mute button because I receive different group text throughout the day from 1 sender)

Bigger inline photos
Having photos in the conversation view bigger (more like Android messages) would be a nice feature. They appear a little small at the moment

default sim selection
this app auto change sim selection according to message received sim.
mostly we have a sms pakage only on one sim when we want to reply to sms of other sim , the selection change which cause chages without knowing.

3 Notification Buttons
Options one two & three should correspond with being on the left middle or right. If I choose nothing in option one, but used options two and three - on the notification they slide over into spots one and two.

Contact groups
It would be awesome if I could add contacts to groups so that a set group of conversations share the same customizations (notifications etc). Currently I have to manually customize each conversation the exact same way multiple times to get the effect that I'd like.

deleting messages
allow selecting multiple messages for deleting, moving, etc.

message order from bottom up
for bigger screen, it is easier to handle if the newest message is ordered from bottom up

Pinned conversations = pinned contact
When composing a new message, show the pinned conversations/contacts from the main list at the top of the contact selection window.

Remove the Textra logo when you open up the app.
Textra is very simple and elegant looking. It would look much better if we could remove the Textra logo that appears when you open the app. This small feature will definitely make the app perfect.

Drunk mode!
Hey Textra I have been a supporter of the app for several months and I love the app! I was wondering if you could add a "drunk mode" to the app which would make it impossible to text when in the mode! I've seen loads of people post about it and I thought it might be something fun to add to the app! :)

To know if a messages has been seen.
It would be awesome if we could know if the messages has been seen just like the app Invi Messages. If both users are using the same app through Instant Messaging MMS you could know if the message has been seen similar iMessage but on Android. Textra would be really cool with this feature in it.

great app but needs to save settings
It's a great app but why do I have to spend 10 mins tweaking the settings every time I reinstall the app (I like changing ROMs in a few weeks). You should implement Google based backup of settings.

if this app makes its icon which show no of unread/ failed sms then it will be best sms app in play store, no one will compete with it.

Detect OTP in the messages
Most of the time I use SMS is because I recieve OTP notifications via SMS. it would be stand out feature for textra if it could detect OTP messages and allow to copy it directly.
the feature is available in Microsoft's message app and works great.

see users typing/read option
able to see when the other person read your message and if it's typing.

Allow us to change vibration intensity or pattern
With Oreo you can't turn off vibrations, so textra will vibrate at 100dbs. It would be nice to have some other patterns to choose from within the app similar to telegram or some other apps
