  5. Allow the notifications in the notification pulldown screen to be set to black

    I really like what you guys did with the notifications drop-down for the Textra setting if you have the black mode enabled. I like how they are black as well, I just wish they were black when I pull down all of my notifications.

    I'd love to have text bubbles have an option to have a colored outline so that the bubble can be black (OLED friendly) and still maintain color. Possibly also coloring the text to the same color as the outline

  7. Allow composing a message without any contact being selected

    When you click "compose message" the app asks for a contact which normally fine. But can you please make it so that the user can click the space below to start composing a message even if no contact has yet been selected?

    Sometimes I want to compose a message before selecting who I want it to go to.

    When using the native app on my S8 I received notifications on my Fitbit and Wahoo cycling computer. Perhaps I have missed something but I don't get notifications when Textra is default app. Would be a 'nice to have'.

    Make the textra logo show up on the always on display for a Samsung galaxy s8. I am unable to get the same notifications as I would with the stock messaging app on the AOD.

  18. Custom Notification Sound

    There should be a feature to allow users to have a notification sound for this specific app. I have a Galaxy S8 and have a certain sound I would like to use but I don't have the option to apply a notification sound to this app. There is an option to do that with the pre installed messaging app but I really like Textra.

    sure would be great to have the ability to attach files to a text message such as pdf and doc(x). I know that I have requested this for a couple of years but if other messaging apps can do this (imessage for example and WhatsApp), what can be hard about doing it for Textra? Thanks
