  3. non-numeric (text bot) grouping / notification settings

    The ones thing that I'd like to see in an updated version on the app would be the grouping on all non-numeric (aka text bot) contacts into a single text bot "contact / folder" grouping similar to the way Facebook messenger does. basically they have a single contact labelled "businesses" and then have all non-numeric conversations within this "contact / folder". It's a very good idea, and I'd like to see it implemented on this app 😉. I'd also like to see notification settings for these chat bots on an individual level. some I'd like to receive sounds / noticing…

  4. Mark Read in Notification Panel

    When I get a notification there's an option to mark as unread (but it just came in and already is unread). It should be an option to mark as read and clicking on it should mark it as read and clear the notification.

  5. anti-annoyingness mode/ex protection

    this is a needed feature.
    anyone who texts knows there's that one person who sends unreasonably long messages (which get split to multiple messages) and/or sends repeat messages. there needs to be a way to hush the "double ding" notifications. if I don't have enough time to get the phone out of my pocket the notification shouldn't register.

    ideally this could be set only on specific offenders, which is how this feature would differ greatly from DND and black list. I want to get notifications for the occasional message. I just want control over them blowing up my phone.

  6. Do not consume notification on quick-reply

    Currently, when pressing a SMS notification, it opens the quick-reply view and you can write your reply. If you lock your phone or switch app, the view will disappear and there is no notification to click on to bring it back (it gets consumed when you press it). It would be nice if the notification was still there so you could resume your reply.

  7. More LED Colour Options

    Possibility for more options regarding the LED notifications? For instance, right now there is only one option for "blue", so perhaps add light blue? Among others.

  8. detect OTP messages

    detect incoming OTP messages and show just OTP in the notification popup with button to directly copy that to clipboard from the popup. This feature is available in microsoft's SMS organizer, I hope Textra gets it too, as this I use this a lot and the only reason I switched from Textra. FYI I have been Textra for so long that I don't remember the exact time, altealst for 5 years I would say but then you guys have a lot of catching up to do.

  9. Favorites bar

    Be able to add people to a favorites bar. In my opinion, it's a slicker way to find the people you message often without pinning or searching. Pinning takes up to much valuable space on the phone screen especially if you have 6 people you want access to regularly. One click on the avatar in the favorites bar immediately brings you to the thread.

    After going through old texts, and then going down to new texts, when I would open the keyboard (G-board) and scroll up, I would bring me back to those texts, and glich out in a wierd way.

  14. Samsung Gear Integration/App

    I love your app. It is so much faster, better, and more customizable than the stock Samsung messaging app. However, I can't read or respond to messages on my Gear S3 without switching my default app back to Samsung's. Any plans for a Gear app?

    I've tried adjusting font size but it makes no difference. The top of the emojis are getting cut off.

    I just tried Microsoft's SMS Organizer and it has some features.

    1. Can you add Categories and filter sms based on the subject?

    2. Allow users to create at least 5 categories.

  20. notification sound during call

    choose a distinct sound for message during call. I want to hear a sound but I want it to be soft and short, rather than the "bigger" sounds I want off-call
