  1. Message date format and additional info

    I would like to see how many days ago a specific message was received. So in addition to seeing

    Also should be able to customize the date format to

    adding a private folder that need a password or fingerprint to access. so you can protect your private conversation from other people who use your phone. for example a girlfriend ;-)

  6. Textra Quick Compose

    it would be awesome if when the contact information is inputted into the contact field for Textra Quick Compose feature, a thread would come up if one already exists with the contact is entered. so the message would be sent in the same thread that already exists instead of creating a new thread... Thank you..
    I would live if this feature is in the next update..

    another thing.. please consider adding the Chat Head feature... so new incoming messages would be easier to access instead of sliding down the notification bar all the time..

  8. Easy scaling

    There should be a way to easily increase and decrease the font size in a chat, by pinching in and out. Also, there should be a way to archiclve chats you don't use often. And you should be able to add short cuts to certain threads on the home screen

  9. Preview new message contact while in chat screen

    While in the chat screen with someone, and you get a text from someone else, have contact bubble pop up on the header so you know who it's from and can decide if it's important.

  10. Reply Status Icon

    Sometimes it's difficult to remember who sent the last message from the main screen. Only by reading the text can one possibly infer who sent the message in the main screen preview text. I suggest an icon to designate whether you've replied or not (or who has sent the last message) with an iconic symbol. This is similar to how Facebook shows messages.

  11. Remove Number From Blacklist

    Please add a method to "reinstate" a blacklisted number. I accidentally blacklisted an important number, and now I want to reverse its blacklist status and "whitelist" that number again.

    Able to save Individual text messages from someone to go back to it later. It would be easier to find a message instead of scrolling up a long conversation.

  17. detect if sender supporting reply and answer or not?

    Hi.
    In Android Messages, if sender of a message don't support reply to message(Like some of messages from Operators and Bulk sms Senders), the app don't show replay text box and send button and say sender don't support replay. It's very useful feature. Please add it to Textra SMS also.

  18. Mirror UI elments alighnemnt in Right to Left languages like Persian

    Hi.
    I saw Textra UI in Persian language. But it have a problem. Basically, when language of apps is a right to left, all/most(Except some special) elements in UI of app should be mirrored. For have a sample, you can set you phone's UI language as Persian/Arabic and see WhatsApp, Android Messages and other default apps in phone.

    For example, now in settings, disable/enable buttons(switches) are on right side but they should be on left side and texts in front of them should remain on right side. All of switches and their labels should be like it.

  19. Bubble color match contact color

    I use Contact Tiles Plus to generate contact images, it would be great if Textra could pick a bubble color based on the main color in the contact image. I believe Google Messages does this to pick it's colors.
