FONTS!!!
please include a variety font pack for Textra that also allows custom colors.

ability to not see gifs or stickers...
there's a ton of buttons and for those of us not up with communicating via pictures, it would be nice to have just emojis or a way to hide certain types of content like stickers and gifs

Removing EXIF
I never receive images through Textra that have the EXIF data intact. I don't know if it is removed by the sender or by Textra when it is received. If Textra is removing it I wish it wouldn't.
Also I wish there was a global option for removing EXIF from images that I send.1 vote -
Option for square contact icon
Material Design circular icons make the contact picture in the messages list too small. Would like to have the option to choose between circular pictures/initials and square ones

group chat, bookmarked
when I reenter a group chat text and have 34 unread messages, open that thread at the last message I read. instead of the last message received. have a setting that would allow either. 1 pickup from where YOU left off. 2 show bottom of thread.

Remove ppl from group thread
For group threads of 3+ recipients, I'd like to be able to remove a participant prior to responding further in the thread.

Send Delay Time Tuning
Can you please allow a time length tunability for send delay rather than one second increments. For instsnce 1.25 seconds or 1.5. I would like longer than 1 second but not 2, there is no in between. Maybe a slider to elect time and tune to the time you desire.

Date and time on each SMS
I see the swipe left shows the time of the message but having the date and time on each message as a switch on or off option would be great. The time from swipe left only shows for that view. If we come out of the message conversation, the time stamps are missing - just have the time and date on each message please. Chomp have it so why can't textra develop it and add it in.

Time stamp on EVERY text bubble
Searching ideas states this is already implemented but it isnt. Time stamps have a number of important applications, especially in business... it seems I only get a time stamp occasionally, and not always. make this an option or let me know where it is. Otherwise I have to fall back to another app that does this.

Camera preview
After taking a picture in the app from the text screen, it would be nice to have the option to preview the picture before importing into the messege. After the picture is taken, the picture enters the message without being able to preview before sending.
I feel that an improvement would be to keep the photo up, and allow us to choose to send or delete the photo(try again), and upon deleteing, the camera will remain open and allow for another picture to be taken.1 vote -
text to email contact
my current text message app allows me to send out a group message as individual messages and lets me click on contacts who only have email information no phone numbers. It sends it out using my phone number xx123xx@vtext.com (which is the Verizon format for that) other carriers have their own.

Ads
I vote to move ads back to the top. I realize the non pro version of add supported but I'm feeling as though ads we move to the bottom cuz they are more in your face there than at the top. not cuz used wanted them there. Just sayin'....

Animations and displays more information
I want animations on scrolling through messages or make it an option for people to add the animations or not that way they have on option if they want Textra to look quick or nice to the eye. And I'd like Textra to display a like loading animation or anything that indicates if the message has been sent or not. The three dots only appear when a text is sent when there is no reception.

Pop up window
It would be better if this app has an option for pop up window for new messages on screen, to quick action; like other messengers: vibe, what's app or GoSMS in which the user can delete or reply quickly on a small pop up.

Take Black Out the Icon
Make the Icon all one color and Remove the black in the middle of the icon. This will allow for better coordination with phone themes.

Location Awareness
iPhone users can share their location with a simple click on a button. that would be nice to just send a link of where I am that would bring them to Goole maps possibly. Also, whenever an iPhone users does share their location, it is shown as a vCard with only one field filled in with an apple maps link. it would be nice for Textra to regcognize that and display it coordingly, rathaer than have to add the contact and go through the contacts act to click the link. it would also be nice if Textra could regcognize addresses…
