  1. Android Auto no longer sending SMS since it's update last week (January 2018)

    Since Android Auto was updated in the third week of January, it l although it says it's sending text messages, there is no record in Textra, nor are the messages actually sent

  2. like and react to texts received

    not a new idea, but our know how iPhone users can like and react to text received? it would be very nice if we could react or like a text we receive just like iPhone users do.

  3. Manual File Size Limits for MMS

    Allow users to enter a manual file size limit for MMS messages. For example Textra currently jumps from 1MB to 2MB file sizes while I have Verizon in the US and their file size limit is 1.2MB

  4. Notification Groups

    I think I'd be really nice if we had groups for our notifications. Instead of having to find each contact in a group that we want a notification for, we just change the group.

    Example:
    I have two main groups with different notification sounds/vibrations/colors. For family and for automated (bank,amazon,etc.)

    Instead of having to track down all family members to highlight together and make a change to all of them, I would create a "notification group" and assign them to that group. Then, if I wanted to update the notifications for my family, I would just change the group settings.…

    Can you sort messages based on which ones came in first?? I hate having to scroll down to see new messages.

  6. Message Padding

    It would be good to have multi line messages have the same amount of padding as single line messages. Currently the multi line messages look a bit odd.

    Instead of mark as unread in the notification of a text message have it say mark as read because many times I don't respond to random numbers that text me.

    The ability to add a specific image to the circle for the group rather than their individual pictures showing on the group notification. Similar to how Facebook Messenger does it.

  13. Repetitions

    would love if you could make it possible that by repetition of message you could choose anything other than the interval of two minutes between the repetitions - for example. with a five-minute interval.

    When receiving text messages, they come in small patches and in the wrong order. If possible, it would be nice to have the app combine all the incoming messages into one solid text.
