  1. Add ability to change font colour in top bar

    Just as you can change the font colour in messages, you should be able to change the colour in the title bar and other areas.

  3. Rearrange Pinned Conversations

    Just drag and drop or a button at the top to rearrange the order of pinned conversations. Annoys me to have to unpin and repin if I decide to change the order

  5. An option to temporarily stop receiving text notifications

    Similar to airplane mode, but just for texts.
    This feature would be useful when you are sharing your phone with other people (ex. watching a video together / looking at photos together / someone borrowing your phone to use / when driving with a friend and phone is connected to car via Bluetooth).
    if you are in a situation where you do not want another person reading your incoming texts, you could just use this option to temporarily restrict notifications of new texts until your phone is private again.

  7. conversation list colored banner

    instead of coloring the initials of the recipient in the conversation list, it would be nice to have the entire bar colored. Then the main menu would be a list of stripes instead of dull white, grey, or black

  9. "Pin" specific emojis to top of emoji menu.

    Currently, a number of "recently used" emojis are at the top of the menu. It would be awesome if we could choose which "frequently used" emojis we want to "pin" at the top.

  10. SS-like Heads Up Notifications

    Creating a style for the heads up that is similar to Samsung's heads up for notifications. Pops towards the top of the screen, displays who messages, and then closes itself back into a small bubble. Multiple animations for the notifications/heads up are always a plus.

  13. Conversation Boarders

    I would really enjoy it if there could be a setting for boarders around each conversation. What I'm talking about are the lines between the conversations that separate them. If this one thing could be added, this would be the perfect messaging app for me. Thanks!

  14. Add wildcard paterns for blocking phone numbers

    It would be incredibly useful if the blocking of phone numbers also allowed the use of wildcards. For example, I constantly get calls that start with 860214. I want to be set up a wildcard pattern of 860214xxxx to block all calls from those 6 first digits RATHER than having to add them all individually. Please consider this enhancement!

  15. Continuity with any device

    It would be great to also have your service to work say on a computer just by going to a web address. From a previous owner of a iPhone, it was great when I would start a conversation with my iPhone then switched to my computer with all my messages synced up. That would be a huge advantage to other competitors around and huge win for not only Textra, but for us the customers. Thank you.

    the blob emojis have changed throughout the years, from 4.4 to 7.1.
    what I'm suggesting is to have an option to choose which version of the blob emojis to use, (and if possible, make it per emoji customizable ?) currently only the latest, flatter ones are supported. long live the blobs !

  20. BUG REPORT

    When I receive a text and clear it via Notification centre, it flags the SMS as read. ( to clarify- Textra is leaving the message marked as read because I did not actually read it when clearing the notification).

    This does not happen when using the stock messages app.

    I am updated to the lated ver.
    Phone model is samsung s8
    please fix this.
