  1. Auto Light & Dark Without GPS

    I turned off location permissions because I found out it was asking for location every 5 minutes (that's a huge battery hog) so now my auto light and dark is from 10pm - 6am. Can you make it so we can set the time for dark vs light rather than just relying on GPS or just defaulting to 10pm-6am. Alternatively make it so we can choose how often it checks for GPS.

  5. Group Chat - conversation switch

    It would really help if there was a tabbed option in group conversations to allow users to easily switch back and forth between individual user responses and group. It would create a more streamlined experience for those moments when you want to response from everyone in the group individually. Verizon message has this feature and it makes everything sooo easy.

  6. GIF keyboard auto pop-up

    After selecting the GIF option, the keyboard should auto pop up and the search option should have the cursor/text area ready to go. Having to click on the very specific magnifying glass area is a bit redundant.

  7. Media Tab

    It would be great to include a media tab within Textra for users to view all media that's been shared between user conversations. The current functionality allows users to views media for particular conversation but it's so difficult to access. Please add it in a tabbed format per conversation and then add it in tabbed format for all media for all conversations on the landing page.

  9. Better Blacklisting

    I get group texts all the time from my boss, but my idiot co-workers reply to all numbers, so all day long I'm bothered by their stupid gossip.

    When blacklisting numbers in a conference text, they should all be listed separately instead of as a list. That way I can shut up my co-workers bit still communicate with my boss.

    An option to temporarily blacklist numbers for variable times (e.g. 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, custom), say for when I DO need to temporarily work out the details of a schedule swap with a co-worker.

    It would be nice if there was an option to change which version of each emoji set you can use. I really liked the look of the Android 5.0 emoji and would like being able to use and see them again.

    It would be nice to receive my text messages while out of the country, where I do not have service but have Wi-Fi. I would recommend having the ability to enter my email address in the app which could then send a copy of any incoming texts to my email. thank you.

    currently, if you swipe to the left, you can see the number of messages. make it a setting or choice to have to appear somewhere else like in the title of the thread or in the conversation at the top
