    Rather than having to use third party apps to back up messages it would be a good idea to include a sync feature which uploads to Google Drive or to an external SD card

  2. Auto Resize when sending GIF heavier than Carrier Data Limit

    My carrier is limiting the weight of MMS at 600k. Most of GIFs I want to send are heavier. I know that Google's messenger is able to resize them automatically. Can you add this feature too ?

  6. Option to hide conversation summary

    Make it possible to not display conversation summary (last message fragment) for certain conversations on app home screen. This way we could choose conversations whose content is not visible by just accidentally opening the app.

    It's frustrating to add a new person to an already made group chat because there is not a feature to add a new person.
    It would be a time saving feature.

  10. Hide and auto delete spam sms or control sms containing specific text

    There is an application androidlost, for remote management of a lost phone.
    One of the functions is control via SMS if there is no internet connection.
    But these control SMS are visible on the managed phone.
    The author has some difficulties with this.
    Is it possible to add functionality that will hide the fact of receiving new sms and remove it with a small delay SMS, containing specific text?

    This same function can be used to combat spam.

  12. s8 8 series navigation area themes

    it would be cool if we could recolor the navigation area around the software home button to match our themes. the settings allow you to do this already on the s8 series phones. for other apps it's says it's controllable by the app maker so I know it's possible. right now it's white meaning you haven't altered it.

  13. Convert sms to a reminder

    Can you add an option of converting an sms into a reminder.

    So if I receive a text saying 'let's chat at 1600 tomorrow' I can click on an option of add reminder and set it up.

    A step ahead would be for it to pick up words like tomorrow or this evening or meeting and automatically give an option of a reminder.

    I'm not entirely sure how far you guys can go with this but I have a problem when texting people, if they send me a decent length text the text will break apart early on for about every 15 words and never more than 3 lines are allowed to be in one text which is annoying. I'm throwing the idea of being able to change this in the settings area of the app, like users would be able to choose how long a text can be before its broken up into a million pieces.
