auto deletion of one-time codes
Many things send us 4, 5, or 6-digit one-time codes for authentication. New phones offer the ability to delete one time pins (OTP) automatically after 24 hours. I would like textra to add this feature to clean up my inbox.

Color code messages/threads
Love Textra! I've been using it for ages. I think a good addition would be instead of just being able to color code the contacts name, make it so you can color code the whole "box" on the main screen. So work could be blue, family yellow etc... would be easier to find the group you want at a glance.

Voice to Text Option
app has an option for an in app vm, but no option for voice to text. It would be a nice improvement, and make it a different option than vm, in case people like the other option.

Forwarding
I deal with a lot of short-term relationships that don't warrant me to add these people into my contacts. All I see is their phone number and in truth I may not even know the name of the person on the other end. My problem is whenever I'm reading information in a text and I need to forward it to another phone number there's no easy way to do that with Textra. All of my other messaging apps would bring up all of my conversations and allow me to pick which one I was forwarding to. This one only allows…

signal type identification
signal allows your number to be hidden by using a word.
this prevents a huge amount of robo dialing and spam calls.

Merge read-only chats with similar name
Some of the chats are read-only, coming not from a phone number but a service you cannot reply to. I have encountered services that use inconsistent capitalization, e.g. my operator uses "operator", "Operator" and "OPERATOR" creating 3 different chats. I would like an ability to merge all of them into a single one.

your text message icon says I have 2 messages when there is only one. It's been doing this since the last Samsung update. it's annoying but livable. I'm writing this here because you don't have a support to email or text this to.

FR: Report SPAM SMS
Hello, as French user, we have a official and government platform to report SMS spams and help them to shutdown those numbers and links.
The number is 33700 and free french service. They have a website: 33700.frMy idea is simple: as simple as blocking a number, just be able to report a SMS as spam to this service.
They just need the sending number and the content of the message. Also, you can add 2 bonus info: date and time you received this message.I discovered today they have a new feature to report with a simple screenshot.

Send over wifi
My Verizon network is down. We had a death in the family so there's a lot of texting going on. I'm realizing for the first time this app won't work over wifi. I'd love that feature added.

Add a "mark all as read" to conversations
I frequently have issues with Textra not updating conversations to show I've read all the messages. I'd like a "mark all as read" feature for conversations that will remove the unread indication from the conversation.
