  1. Pre-set Color Palletes

    Hello, been with Textra for about 10 years now and will be a forever customer! The color customizations are amazing for this app but I have 0 creativity so I need the colors picked for me. Anyway your team could put together some pre-set color selections? Thanks for allowing your customers to give these ideas and feedback as well. THANK YOU

    Just as in an email client, have a trash folder to hold deleted texts for a user's selectectable period.

  3. Mark Messages as Unread

    Can you add the ability to mark messages as unread once you've read them, like you can in email. Sometimes you get a message and read it but maybe want to save it for later on or reference it again. Marking it as unread would bold the text again and make it easier to find.

  4. Color code icon SIM1 vs SIM2

    Please use different colors for the SIM1 and SIM2 icons.
    Easy to accidentally press the SIM selector, hard to read the number on the SIM icon, resulting in accidental send from wrong SIM. Using different icon color for SIM1 vs SIM2 is simple elegant solution.

    How about a long press on a message in a conversation and a menu comes up where you can hit reply and it'll quote the message that you want to reply to. Thanks!

  8. Larger keypad buttons

    would love the ability to enlarge the keys for texting, people with larger fingers have difficulty quick responding due to multiple letter presses at one time. sometimes its so bad that the auto correct can't even figure it out. lol . ❤️your app

    there are some names I type often (including my own last name) that are never recognized when I swipe them. Can we store words that the app can recognize right away instead of auto-correcting?

    would be nice to have important info such as addresses or links also be saved just like how media is easy to pull up.
    for example if my friend sent me that address two months ago I don't want to scroll to find it.

    Application does not remember SIM used. I have a double sim phone. If I use SIM 2 to send a text message, when reply is received the sim shows as SIM 1

    I've been waiting for the "hand hearts" emoji to be added and it's still not available 😭 I don't know whether that's an iphone or Android thing (I have a Samsung) but if you could add this, & other up-to-date emojis that would be awesome!

  15. Discard Unsent Message..

    Ability to delete all the words of an unsent message. many times I have been in the process of responding to someone and they call.
    I abandon texting and answer.
    the message is saved as a draft, which is good.
    If it is a looonnngggg unfinished response I have to either hold down the backspace key or I long press a word, then options to select all and then hit backspace.
    As an example, Gmail on Android has an option in the hamburger menu of an email composition screen to 'Discard' if you don't want a draft hanging around.

  16. Add date to this Ideas list & marked as completed

    I'm reading through some of these ideas and know that I can do what they suggest. maybe some of those are features of my keyboard or other customizations I have on my phone.
    Also have Ideas marked as 'Done'
    EXAMPLE: there is one asking about color coding a contacts messages in individual threads & groups. I do this already, but don't know when that was posted, and no way to alert the requester, not like in a threaded forum because in these idea boxes would get convoluted and long with multiple people making comments about how something is already done…

  17. Show Phone Calls Inline with messages

    similar to many chat programs like MS Teams or Discord. it would be cool if it showed that there was a call with a contact between two messages. that would give more context to the messages. including the call duration would be cool.

    i want to comment on specific texts. like in a group text, i want to reply to kim Text, and amy, i have to address them in my reply. like hi kim the text about... then hi amy, i like...
