  1. Picture Selection with "+"

    before the last update, you could click anywhere on the image to attach. now you have to select a small circle in the top right and press "choose 1" at the bottom. this adds unnecessary steps to this process.

  3. Notification icon color

    The notification icon color is gone now. That was one of the best features to differenciate between senders and easily see textra notifications on your lock screen.

  4. save a text thread to save text thread to photo album

    I would like to suggest the ability to save a text thread or part of to the photo album just as it looks in Extra. I know there are screen shots, copy and paste, or screen recording but being able to have the option in the app would be great.

    Just like all the beautiful color choices provided, it would be great if we could create our own color pallet theme for our contacts, just like Textura offers its own- making the app completely color customizable.

    I would really like to choose which reactions I can use. The ones provided are not really usefull for me. I would like 'laughing' 'smiling' 'heart' 'sad face' and 'wink'.

    Also, being able to react to pictures, gifs, and videos are so important, and makes up most people's conversations, especially mine. Best case scenario we can react to those. Even if it gives as a toggle option 'Loved image' is better than nothing at all. I have people in a group message that likely think Im ignorging them bc I cannot react to their pictures of their kids graduation. Thats…

  8. shake to erase

    Often times we talk messages in and the phone misinterprets it. It would be great if we could just vigorously shake the phone and erase all the text to start over.

    Highlight or select a text and then reply to it, both are shown to the other user so that person knows which text they are referring to

  10. Forwarding Messages

    PLEASE. Make it able to forward a message with a picture attached! I forward sales & promos to my clients all day and the app won't let me do that with a picture attached! I have to forward the picture separately 😭

  12. Make it easy to text your location

    A suggestion: Add an option to the + options to make it easy to send your current location (latitude, longitude, and address, say). It would be useful and potentially life saving.

  17. Customize date format

    Can we have the ability to customize the date format? like so if we want double digits to always show (ie 05/... instead of 5/...) or we want the year to come first etc?

    You can have it so we can put YYYY/MM/DD and lower case mm/dd would not force double digits, or if people like only seeing the last 2 digits of the year they could put yy, etc...

  19. silence reaction notifications in chat settings

    We need a global and per-chat setting to turn off notifications for reactions in both single and group chats. In a big group chat one person will write something and then you get 15 notifications as everyone gives it a heart or whatever. Very annoying. Thanks!
