  2. Silent texts

    FB messenger lets you send a message silently by adding /silent before the message you want to send. Is there a way to add that in textra? That way we could just go ahead and send the message at whatever time and it won't bother the receiver of the message

  4. Group or individual notification sound choice

    Love the ability to customize notification sound for each contact and group through the android settings. Would it be possible to have the ability to choose whether we want the system to use the group sound or the individual contact's sound for notifications? Thanks.

    i can copy/paste this emoji, but not type it. The FAQ states all emojis are supported to U15 but this one is U13.

    There are some other emojis that do not seem available despite using the same keyboard (Gboard) before Textra.

  7. Edit SIM order number

    We should be able to pick which SIM is labeled 1 and which is labeled 2 in the app. The numbers don't adjust based on the primary SIM (which can be changed back and forth) from the phone settings. When I first got my second SIM, SIM 1 & 2 labels were applies, but they swapped when I transitioned to a new phone and it's breaking my brain, they need to be changeable.

  9. Option to open full app when clicking on notification.

    When I tap on a notification to read and reply to a text, I expect to open the full messaging app at the conversation. The limited seperate app that opens up is not something I ever want to use.
    Please add the option to just open the full app always.

  10. Better out of service SMS handling.

    Currently, if you are out of service or offline and get sent multiple SMS messages, the only chance you have to download them is tapping the notification. If that fails to download the messages, that's it. They're gone.
    A placeholder message from the sender with the option to download and maybe retry would be a better solution.
    Even better if it can keep track of the timestamps and figure out how to put the missed messages in time order for group conversations.

  11. List message view option instead of bubbles.

    As popular as comic style conversation bubbles are, I loved that my last messaging app had a list view option. I find it easier to read and view more messages per screen-space.

    hi. I was hoping that a feature could be added to reply to a specific message in a chat like u can in apps like WhatsApp. now when an apple user replies specifically to a message in a group chat it just shows up as xyz replied to a message as a separate text without specifying what message they are replying to
