  1. Group Dividers or Section Dividers

    I'd like to see an option to add multiple Group Dividers or Section divider.

    This would allow users to add people or phone numbers to a group like "Family" "Friends" "Work" "Spam" or "Payment Alerts".

    That way it is more organized and I can see all my family grouped together, then a new divider header for Work and see all my work people grouped together.

    Even if that number has been deleted from the main menu, when a new text comes in, it will automatically filter into their respected categories.

    If someone messages you while you're busy, and you have your phone in 'do not disturb,' the app would automatically send that person a preset message letting them know you are busy.

  6. Need Android Contacts/Textra Interface Repaired STAT

    Sadly Im forced to switch from being a long time Textra Pro customer to Samsung/Android default app. I cannot fix this myself--too time consuming & some contacts dont stay. ☹️

  7. Date format customisation

    It appears that the standard date format is mm/dd/yy. Can we have it customised to the locale so that I can set it to dd/mm/yy as I'm in Britain?

    separate the voice to text and send buttons a bit more so fat fingered people like me can finish more texts before sending. it happens way too often.

  13. Specific privacy notification options

    I would like texts from designated conversations to show up private on my lock screen, but not all conversations. I would also like the option to be able to read them on my smartwatch but not my lock screen.

  14. Notification repeats - less frequent

    I don't use the repeat notifications because 2 minute intervals is too frantic for me. A would love a 10 minute interval for missed texts. Is this an option?

  16. Transparent Status Bar

    I love how this app doesn't completely black out the status bar up top, though instead of having the status bar be a slightly shaded hue of the theme color, it would be amazing if there was an immersive mode that allows the status bar to be apart of the Textra theme rather than be separated from it. These phones are bezeless, let's have the whole display be nice and simple.

  17. customize message customize text notifications

    When I get a text message I would like to hear a happy "ding!" unless it's from my ex. Then I want to hear a vomit sound or something similarly unpleasant. I would like to customize incoming text notifications to specific people like I can with ringtones. I'm on a pixel 7 pro.

  19. Change color of group text bubbles

    To help avoid embarrassing message deliveries it would be great if message threads sent to more than one person had bubbles a contrasting color, so, when we tap on the thread seeing someone's name, we know it's only going to them if we see the default color. Thanks!

  20. Arrange text messages by alphabetical order.

    I have a lit of text messages for work. it would be convenient if I could arrange the conversations in alphabetical order because who I spoke to last isn't helpful. I'd like to be able to scroll to the "S' names or what have you or put ! in from of names I don't need pinned but want at the too if the list.
