  1. Notification mode overriding from Textra not good

    In sleep mode, my Android ROM shows me notifications like this: screen off > screen on with a line for the notification, colors of the screen in black & white for less consumption and low brightness > 10 seconds and screen off. I like this.
    Textra, by overriding this built-in​ system, turn on the screen, full color and full luminosity, and turn off after the screen on duration specified in the phone settings, 1mn for myself.
    I must add that I disabled floating notifications in Textra settings.
    What I'd like is to tell Textra to just use the Android system…

  2. Accents and special chars supression more clever

    This function is nice and it destroys messages even if not needed.
    In SMS, we have two sets of accentuated chars :
    - à é è ù for example only consume one char. they do not need to be removed (and it can make a big difference in the meaning of a sentence).
    - ê ë ç and capital accentuated chars like À consume more chars. they are the ONLY ones which should be removed.
    Could this functionality be updated? Right now, I had to disable it because it created confusion with some of my messages.

    as a pro and long time user it kills me to have to use the stock Samsung app again. please add tizen and gear s3 support

  4. Customize hyperlink colour

    The ability to make links show up as a different colour than the regular body of a message would be nice

  5. Group Message Toggle in Text

    Someone else has posted this idea, but it isn't in effect yet. You can toggle between group or individual messages in the main menu, but it is a pain to go there each time to make that distinction. would be awesome if toggle was right there on group text page so you can toggle it to have replies go to everyone or just you and you choose each time

  6. How to stop a message in SEND?

    Does anyone know how to stop a message in SEND? It says we can do that but I can't find out how to anywhere!

  11. System Heads Up

    Native support for "heads up" or "peeking" notifications has been around for a while now. I think it's high time we have the option to use this instead of Textra's version. Every other notification on my phone looks the same... except for Textra's.

  12. Copy one time passwords instantly: Quick OTP

    Either you are shopping on an E-commerce site or Transacting with your Debit card, you should have faced the trouble going to a Message note the OTP  (One-Time Password)and enter it in the transaction page.

    Solution:
    whenever you receive an OTP, you will be displayed a floating notification the OTP is displayed in different color and an option Copy OTP on the right. So just tap on Copy OTP and paste it without the need to move from your current screen.
    Quick OTP should be enabled by default.

  15. Sending time instead if reception time

    I think it would be more useful that the hour indicated for a SMS is the hour it was sent instead if the hour it was received. Thanks.

  16. Android Wear App

    The only way to access your non-notification messages on Android Wear is to go through your default SMS app - using Textra on a phone and Messages on a watch doesn't work. I'd love to be able to only use Textra everywhere

  19. Option to copy word inside a bubble instead of the whole bubble.

    I use this feature when someone texts me a number or a word I want to look up. I don't need the whole bubble.
