  2. Ad placeholder at top of thread list

    Sometimes when I do not have great service or my phone is lagging, the ad at the top of my thread list has a delay before appearing. When I want to select the top conversation the ad will appear at the last second at the top causing me to accidentally click the ad and bring on much more delay and frustration waiting for my browser to open and load the page.   3. Undoing deleted Text Threads.

    it'd be really nice to be able to undo a delete on text threads. although having the confirm option before deleting us great, I today literally deleted the wrong thread by accident. so I confirmed it thinking I was deleting an unimportant text, and instead deleted an entire thread of someone I just really didn't mean to. very sad

  4. The "archive" option

    Before I used Google Messenger, and there was the "archive" option, to save old conversations, and me and my friends used a lot even the sms in textra and this leaves a list of messages on the main screen, so , In my opinion, the app would be more complete with this functionality.

  5. Send/receive SMS from second number (on single SIM phone)

    Would love to use my (single SIM) work phone to also send/receive SMS from my other, private number. Private phone can be always on and in the same WiFi network, with Textra on both phones.

  10. Adding Contacts Without Having to Keep Pressing +

    This was in an older version of the app, and I absolutely loved it. For example, if I was on a page and wanted to share the link, I clicked share and the quick compose came up. It automatically had my fav contacts come up. I was able to select multiple contacts (without having to press "add contact" each time) and send the message. This allowed me to share webpages to my favorite people in seconds (all individually). It was so fast and incredible.

    I miss it. Bring it back!

  11. Search for emojis

    Sometimes finding the right emoji can be a daunting task. You know it's there, and the emojis are grouped together coherently, but sometimes you gloss over the right emoji without realizing it.

    An option to search emojis would be great. Android keyboard already has this, but I like using the emojis through Textra. For example, if I want to find the Z's, I can can just search it and find it quickly, as opposed to skimming all the emojis 20 times until I finally find it.

    Still keep the section where you see the recently used!

    Would be great if the chat bubbles were grouped up and space in between bubbles was reduced. Also there should be even lighter colours for the chat bubble background available to choose from.

    before creating a new group message allow an easy switch to send to all as a group or individual. the current system makes you go through settings and then you forget and screw up other messages. very annoying

  20. Unique repeat notification sound

    Have the option to choose a different sound for the repeat notification than the initial notification. That way you'd know it's a notification of an existing message and not a new one message.
