Favorite emoji section
Recently used emoji are nice, but change order. If there was a favorite section they could remain in order and you could customize them how you like.

See when sent text is read!!!
It would be nice to see if someone read your text or not. The app would definitely be 5 stars then in my opinion.

Group messaging
Ability to add contacts to an existing group message, or remove contacts. That would be awesome. It would save having to start a while new thread.

Have conversation view when typing a new message
Instead of looking at our favorite contacts or contacts when typing a new message, can we have an option to display our conversations? Many times I want to send pictures to a group or someone I'm currently texting, and I have to type out everyone's name so it can go to the group.

Omit signature when sending only emoji
I would love an option to omit custom signatures from messages that only contain emoji so that they still get enlarged and put outside speech bubbles.

I got a new phone and it would be nice to be able to export all messages from old phone and import them into my new phone!

Swipe away text notification right: it goes away permanently
This way if you want to remove the notification so your LED stops blinking, but you still want to be re-reminded of the notification at a later time. Could also add multiple buttons for these options into the notification itself (rich notifications).

Where's my profanity???
I switched from Google keyboard back to the stock Samsung keyboard MOSTLY because it doesn't let me swipe profanity. After applying your latest update yesterday, suddenly I'm back to "ducking" and "birch" and "sit" when swiping in Textra. It's like Textra is no longer acknowledging my personal dictionary. Going into my browser, my profanity swiping is just fine. What did you do, Textra???

Save a message for future delivery
I'd like the ability to Dave an unsent message for future delivery BUT be able to send other messages to that same individual. I know it will save a draft, but then I need to delete it if I need to send a different message first.

Group messaging
Would be nice if I could choose, when responding to a group text, whether to reply to the original sender only or the entire group. I'm fine with it defaulting to group reply like it does now, I'd just like the option to reply to sender only if you can find a good way to integrate it into the reply screen UI. And I am a paying user, and really like this app! Best texting app available by far!

No "Landline/Undeliverable" replies
In my prior texting apps, if I happened to send a text to a landline number, a reply would soon or eventually be received, saying something like
"Undeliverable, xxx-xxx-xxxx is a landline number"
Could Textra be updated to receive those notices? If not, is that have to do with the mobile service provider, and the programming of the texting app that came with their usual bloatware package2 votes -
Allow color change of textra bar and message start bubble
I like changing my bubbles and background with the seasons or my mood... But I always have this bright blue plus sign and border no matter what my theme is.

How do we make this app more voice compatable?
I say we allow are phone a full day of audio recognition so that it will sync automatically to our vocals without hesitation or freezing when it's fine tuning our vocals and patterns that will synchronize the data based off what it has heard

Better gifs
Please find a way to have better, smoother, more relevant gifs that rival that of other gif keyboards. Noone wants to be the person in a group sending poor choppy and not relevant or up to date gifs and meet. Please give it a thought!

Automatically remove Textra's "New messages" notifications when messages are marked as read by another app
It would be great for Textra to be able to automatically remove its notifications when you read new messages outside of Textra. I often use AirDroid to reply to new messages, which marks messages I reply to as read. However Textra keeps its notifications in notification pane until I swipe them away manually from the phone. A workaround in my case is to allow AirDroid to forward Textra's notification to a computer and "Delete" them from there, but this causes every new message to generate two notifications on PC: one from Textra and one for a new message.

Separate alert sound while in-app
We currently have the option to enable or disable the notification sound while in-app.
It would be nice to be able to choose a separate in-app notification sound.

SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTED about no templates!!
WTF?!? Templates are an ESSENTIAL part of any decent messaging app and many others provide it.
Just paid for the app today and am probably going to uninstall. Never would have bought this app if I knew it didn't allow templated responses.
Come on Textra, what are you doing about this?

choose resend, copy etc...
If you hold down the text. A menu box opens and you can choose to resend, copy, share, ect... without your hand leaving the text box..
