  1. Allow previous picture attach option

    The new photo attach feature is not desirable, it takes longer and more taps to select multiple pictures.
    Just make the new attachment method an option instead of by default

  2. Bixby reading

    Hi there
    could you make this awesome app be able to read by Samsung Bixby service?
    so I can listen to while driving without looking at the phone.
    Bixby can read Samsung message and google message but can't with Textra message.

  3. "Improved media selection" is not an improvement

    The new media selection feature is more annoying than convenient. I liked being able to quickly add 1 image with 1 tap of the thumbnail.

    The new feature is nice for adding several at once, but the checkbox (circle) is too small and annoying to hit right. Additionally, in the vast majority of cases, I'm only trying to send 1 photo at a time anyway.

    I suggest defaulting to the old behavior with a setting and/or a live switch to enable multi-add. Maybe tap to select and hold to expand a thumbnail.

  4. Media Selection

    The new ability to see a picture full-screen before sending is nice, but I'm always triggering it accidentally when I already know what I'm sending.

    This feature would be much better with a long press to view full size or similar instead of having to aim for the checkbox and adding a second click for one image.

  7. 4.74 Option to use Old Image Selection

    The new method introduced in 4.74 increases the possibility of a misclick very noticeably. Before if I wanted to send an image I would just click on it. It was quick and efficient. Now I have to press a small bubble and then confirm I only want to send one image, and then send the message. It doesn't seem like a very positive improvement to UX.

  8. see all texts sent and received on a particular day

    sometimes I'm trying to remember what happened on a particular day and it would be super helpful to be able to go back and see all the texts I sent and received on a specific date versus trying to figure out who I texted and then have to go back to that day in the conversation with that person and then have to figure out another person I might have texted and so forth. I like how when I'm in a particular chat conversation I can choose a day to go back to and it would be nice to do…

  9. New +Photo Selection Functionality

    Revert the changes made to + photo selection enhancements. It is more complicated and added click steps. Don't like it. Not everything has to look like Facebook or work like Facebook. Simpler is better.

  10. Group Texts

    Provide a way to exit a group chat OR an option to turn off notifications for that chat. These are usually one time only use groups and all the replies are annoying if you aren't involved in chatting with everyone in the group.

  12. where did vibration patterns go?

    why on earth would you remove the option to modify vibration patterns and then make it super long and not follow system settings? This is annoying enough to make me jump ship.

  13. photo attachment -GO BACK!

    After latest update, the way to attach a photo has got way worse! Much more complicated and more steps, hoops to go thru! I HATE IT!! Please please please roll that update back! it was so simple and easy to add a single photo with one click.. keep it that way!

  16. The new way of selecting photos is cumbersome

    The old method, single tap, was much simpler and easy to use, please go back, honestly could make me stop using Textra with how annoying it is now.

  19. talk to text punctuation.

    Used to be able to say question mark to get this ? when talk to text was used. Previously could say full stop get get a full stop. In the US, called a period. But it is gone now. what happened?
