  1. Filters for Unread, Drafts

    Please add an ability to filter on messages marked as Unread, as well one to filter on Drafts that have been created. These messages that are flagged or being worked on can get buried, and a filter allows them to be discovered and collected for action.

  2. Editing texts

    WhatsApp allows you to edit a message if you make a mistake. It would be amazing if Textra would also aaloe us to do so. They also have the option to react with any emoji from the emoji gallery.

  6. PLEASE bring old photo selection back.

    I could NOT figure out how to attach a photo for the longest time. The bubble is so transparent and there are way too many clicks for just sending one photo!!!!

    Please have an option to lock the quick compose on the notification bar so you can't swipe it away by accident. The only way to get it back again is to go to the app and choose quick compose off and back on again.

    i would like a mechanism for showing just unread messages, please. I have 4 unread messages, but I don't know what they are. I do not want to mark them all as unread, because then I will NEVER know what they are. I do not want to search for them, the app could, in theory, do a better job than I can.

    A slider in settings that adjusts the size of the circular contact photo in the chats list. Currently, the photos can be made larger by increasing the text size, but it would be nice if the photo size was independent.

    Some texting apps have the ability to set backgrounds for specific chats. It would be really nice if Textra had this feature as well. It would certainly go well with the ability to set the opacity of sent/received message bubbles via a slider.

    The groups by themselves are already pretty decent, but it can be annoying to have to create an entirely new one when there could be an option to remove/add people to already existing groups.

  16. revert the photo attachment process

    I can't press and hold to quickly attach one photo anymore. Now I have to tap the photo and then move past all the other photos and tap "choose 1" and then tap the send arrow or tap back into the typing field. 1 tap has become 3 taps all in different places on the phone screen. PLEASE change this back to the way it was before the update. I paid for the app because it had snazzy features like this.

  20. Nicknames and notes

    I text a lot of people for work and I typically don't want to add all their numbers to my phone. If there was a way to add nick names it could be universally fun for others and really useful for people like myself(anyone in sales) so basically when a number has a nick name it shows that instead of the number in your lists.

    It would also be very useful to add notes to individuals as well. Even if it wasnt a lot.
