    Other apps enable you to repond to specific comments with emojis or replies. They also let you see when the other person is typing.

  2. Option to change text color in conversations

    We can change the bubble colors, however half the colors are very difficult. As the white text blends into the bubble. Pleas add an option to change the text color for conversations.

  3. Most recent messages above pinned contacts

    Greetings, can you give us some extra settings? Maybe let us choose to have the most recent messages above the pinned contacts. Also an option for how many messages are allowed to be above the pinned messages. A max of 3 to 5 would be plenty. I get alot of messages from grubhub customers but I also like having my favorite peoples pinned and easy to locate.

    Grubhub uses masked phone numbers and they change after each customer, otherwise I would just pin the single grubhub number... This feature would be very helpful for gig drivers like me.

  4. Fix stale badge numbers

    if I have a message that I want to get to later, like much later, and I leave it for perhaps five or seven or 10 days before I read it because I don't want to forget it's there so I leave the notification, and then I go to read it, it will not clear the number badge next to it. it will still show us one new text even though I have read the text many times. the only way to get rid of the badge number is to delete the text, or in some cases delete the entire…

    Bonjour, il serait bien de pouvoir avoir l'option dans les messages de programmer l'heure à laquelle le message sera envoyé, celà permettrait de programmer son message le soir tard ou la nuit pour que la personne le reçoit le matin par exemple, se qui évite de déranger la nuit l'envoi instantané.

    please I'm begging you, my videos from Samsung won't go through and when I receive them they look like they were shot on a Nokia brick I can't take the strain on my relationship anymore 😭

    Even if a conservation is in the blocklist folder, it would be nice if there was a code or fingerprint needed to either get into that folder or open a certain conservation.

  11. More noticeable options for unread messages.

    I am a new Textra user, so far I love it! My only wish is for there to be a way to make unread messages show up more compared to read messages. the bold text is nice, doesn't stand out as much as it should. Maybe an option to highlight the entire bar... or make unread bars change color.

  13. options to save media to any user space

    Android 13 locks up default media access to Android.data.com.textra, so rather than an option to autosave to Gallery, can we get the option to save in any other user space of our choice, like Android.com.media.textra or something similar so that we can have access?

  15. Custom Vibration Patterns A12/13/14

    Global settings for vibrate patterns on AOSP and Pixel have been removed in newer android versions. Chomp SMS has an app specific call for vibrate patterns on notifications, and has a custom option that allows users to input the length of time in seconds for vibrations and paused (e.g., 0.12,0.1,0.12 would be two short vibrations with a slight pause in between). Would very much like to see this in Textra.

  16. Custom Fonts in Textra

    Textra has a lot of customization features, such as lots of options for color, bubble style, and emoji style.

    However, while Textra seems to be good at everything else, font customization doesn't really seem like a strong suit of theirs.

    Font customization is what gives an app it's personality. If you're a fan of a cursive script font, that means you're fancy and like the reminder of a handwritten text. A pixelated font means you're a gamer and spend most of your life online. A serif font tells you that someone just likes things simple and plain. All of this…

  19. Add option to allow a single color for a group chat even is some of the contacts have pictures associated with them

    I have group texts and some of the people on the text I have a headshot in my contacts and others I don't and it would be great to have an option for that group text to be set by user to a color I pick as opposed to only having the option to have a mix of pictures and in some cases a portion of the bubble having a color. this way would be easier for me to know which groups I have. I'm sure this must be something that others would enjoy as well
