  2. Dynamically change from SMS to MMS

    I would like to change on a msg per msg basis from SMS to MMS and back again. My work related texts I need to use MMS but most of my personal related texts should be SMS. the stock HTC Messages app has a checkbox per message to change. This seems to be the only feature missing from a very good app

  3. BLACK night mode

    The automatic night mode option is great,but what isn't great is that by default it goes to the dark mode and we don't have the option to chose either black or dark. Some of us that have AMOLED screens would benefit more from the black theme at night as it conserves a bit more battery (and looks better IMO).

  5. Periodic repeat notificationd

    I would like an addition to repeat notifications to periodically notify after the current repeat time limit expires. This would be helpful for when your phone silenced, like in a movie, or when a message comes in over night. Possibly the other suggestion of infinite repeats at a configurable period would work to solve this issue.

  7. Bubbles should only be as long as the longest line of text

    If bubbles were only as long as the longest line if text it would be more aesthetically pleasing. Also if the space between consecutive messages to you or from whoever you're texting was decreased it would be pleasant

  8. Sending pictures

    All of a sudden when I try to attach photos, they just come up as blank boxes and won't let me and. This started yesterday a couple hours after sending pictures with no problems. I rebooted my phone and updated my app to no avail.

    Either replace or provide another option of the auto night mode to switch between light and AMOLED black instead of gray.

  10. Send Any Location

    Many people have requested the ability to share their location, but I would like to add to that the ability to select and share any location. In app, one should be able to choose "My Location" or "Other Location". With the latter, one could pick a place or drop a pin on an in-app Google map.

    When one receives a location, they should be able to bring it up on the default map app, see associated address and maybe GPS coordinates, and from the map app, begin navigation.

  13. Message Counter Not Clearing

    Received Message Counter alert on the Icon is reporting that I have 1 unread message. I've checked my messages, used the "Mark All Messages Read", etc, but it continues to report a message unread on the Textra Counter.

    Let me set an auto response on either a timed period or by a countdown, or by my DND status in Android.

    Also let me choose a separate response if they are in my contact list, a contract group, or not on contacts at all.

  15. Animation effects

    The ability to have message bubbles appear tiny to emulate a whisper or large to mimic yelling or pop up suddenly to emulate a surprise..etc. Effects similar to those added to the heart emoji in the most recent update

    Basically another fun way to convey emotion through messages. This would only work from textra to textra users, but I don't mind that. That would only encourage even more people to switch to textra!!!

  16. Floating/popup notification show whole Message instead of of one ne

    The notification shows Only part of the message, enough for one line and not the whole Message. It should keep. Showing one line messages until the whole Message has been displayed.

    I use the Bitmoji app quite a bit and would like it to be integrated into the options when adding items to the text like emojis, pictures etc....
