  1. Optimization improvements

    Currently you have to go inside the about menu to re-optimize, recommend this be a scheduled action, weekly, and that the issue of contacts be coming corrupted be self correcting

  2. Secondary color on messages screen

    Currently you only see the secondary color within messages or in settings, but not on the main messages screen... Seems like a bit of an oversight, or maybe there should be a tertiary color option?

  3. Option to fix a new conversaton for cosumization (post 3.28)

    Thanks for the conversation functionalities in 3.28, BUT it is a bit complex in a NEW conversation.

    You currently need to type anything in the message-field and then type BACK to save it as a draft, and then reopen the conversation. This works, but is not exactly intuitive...

    Between the Person+ and the Exit-X there could be the usual vertical ellipsis, that could have an option to fix the recipients, and thus making it into an established conversation, and thus allow for changes like bulk/chat.

    OR you could replace the Exit-X with the ellipsis and then have Discard and Fix…

  5. Blank SMS

    Hello Textra,

    You must add the feature to send Blank sms. Some networks require blank messages to activate their services. It is very important. Please do it as soon as possible.

  6. Better (more) delay send options.

    Send delay of up to ten minutes. Right now you can only cancel a time delayed message, there should also be a send now option.

  7. Conversation locking

    Can you make it so that the first X number of messages are free to see, and then to load the rest of the conversation you need to enter the pin?
    Pushing it a small step further would be to be able to enable our disable this function for specific conversations.

  11. Intelligent Reply Method

    It'd be nice to have the notification tap open an appropriate reply method depending on wether or not you're already in Textra. Here are some examples.

    • Tap notification while outside of Textra: open Quick Reply window.
    • Tap notification while in Textra: go to conversation in Textra.

  13. previous threads are numbered(1-onwards) on message sync i.e no contacts available, new chats are the ones that get the contact info

    Whenever I sync messages on my phone all previous threads/chats get numbered ( from 1 onwards) such that when I send a new text it appears as a new thread with contact shown and ignores text from previous thread/chat( now shown as a number not a contact). So could you guys maybe rework how the sync works to be able to read the contacts so that when I open the app all the info is in order?? Thanks

    With Android nougat versions 7.1.1 there's option to add shortcuts on icons. Please work on that to enable quick access to frequent contact

  20. Combining messages on a single notification

    Is it possible to combine notification icons?
    Currently if I get 2 messages from 2 different contacts I get 2 Textra icons ony notifications bar.
