  4. Help

    I have about 3 months of texts between my girlfrend and I that I'd like to backup maybe by emailing to myself. What is the most efficient way to send all in a zip file or something easy and quick to save?
    Please email me a step by step process and what I should be seeing when I do this.. to this point the only way I've seen to do it is to manually click on each and every text page by page .....which is way too labor intensive and time consuming.

  5. A Google Duo button or integration for video calling

    Google Duo is a really good video chat option. Itwould. Be nice to have an option to put a button in textra that will lead it to Google Duo.

  6. Open latest conversation and open conversation with new unread text

    When opening the app from shortcut, it would be nice the have the app open and jump to the last used conversation. When there is a new unread message, opening the shortcut will open that conversation.

  7. Custom tags for emoticons

    One of the coolest features in Textra is to suggest emoticons. Sometimes I use a word that should suggest one and doesn't. Or maybe I want the the thumbs up emoji when I say kewl.

  8. The title of some settings are cut short in portrait mode

    I can't see what some of the options in the settings menu are, because the name of the option is just cut, whenever it's too long for the screen. Should automatically turn into two lines rather than just cutting it.

  9. Distribute text messages to individual conversations of recipients of Bulk group messaging

    Distribute text messages done in Bulk to conversations with individual recipients, therefore facilitating individual replies to each person. We might sometimes forget what we texted the person because the text remains in the group conversation, this will solve the problem

  10. Leave Group Chats!!

    I know there are currently "mute notification" and "blacklist" options for group chats, and I think they're great. However, sometimes they just don't cut it - muting the notifications still causes battery drainage and clutters your inbox, and blocking all your friends isn't a very viable solution either. I propose there be a middle ground where we can either leave the group chat or block the group completely without blacklisting/blocking individual friends. This is a difficult task, but it would help alot of us a great deal. Thanks for listening!

  13. when you have the options the contact name in nougat notification

    this isnt an idea. its a bug
    when you have it set to hide contact name in the notification bar if you swipe down on the notification on nougat it says "reply to (contacts name) it actually shows the persons name.

  16. Hide notification content of short code texts, to protect 2 factor auth

    Codes for 2 factor auth or password resets usually come from short codes, I would feel safer if these codes weren't in view on my locked lock screen.
    Like if someone got ahold of my phone they could reset passwords since the codes are viewable form the lock screen.

    first of all awesome messaging app it would be great to be able to message over internet like whatsapp etc maybe through a messaging app that can be used on PC ,web multiple devices ?
