How to stop deleted messages from showing up in messages
After I delete messages, the messages return. Figure out a way to avoid deleted messages from returning.

Make resyncing data not delete from Textra
I needed to backup my texts and, for some reason, they hadn't been sent to the stock messaging app so I followed the advice here ( https://textra.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/249611-how-to-backup-my-messages ) in order to sync the data from Textra to stock messaging.
Instead of syncing Textra data to stock, it synced the other way a removed a lot of the messages I was trying to back up.
Is it possible to make resyncing perhaps merge the texts from both apps instead of deleting from Textra?

In-app notifications option
I would appreciate this functionality: if Textra is open to a conversation and gets a notification from a different conversation, tapping the notification would switch conversations rather than opening the quick-reply window. Thanks!

Text while Textra time delays your message.
I use a time delay one my texts in case I screw up and have to change something after I hit send, but the issue is I can't send consecutive messages without waiting 9 seconds for my delay to happen. This is the inconvenient surprisingly often, and I'd really like a system where a delayed message moves out of the text box so I can begin working on my next message while the current one is sending.

Ability to change notification banner background color?
I would assume that allowing the user to change this option shouldn't be too difficult.

Swype includes space after each word.
When using Swype for multiple successive words, there is no space between them. This is somewhat time-consuming and makes my preferred one-handed input method less-than-viable.

spam sms inbox
i get a lot of spam sms, be great if sms from numbers not in your contacts would go into a spam/blocked sms inbox. blacklisting a number "individually" doesnt do it, as spam sms come from lots of numbers. blocking numbers thru filtering words isnt enough either.

Bring back "MMS Behavior" Option
I need to set my MMS Behavior to "System" but that option is no longer present in 3.23 and therefore Textra does not work with my carrier.

Pattern messages are convenient when sending same type of message.

I hope that Textra's dual-SIM option will also work for Android 5.0.2

Long press send button to delay a text.
Basically, you hold the send button/long press, and it will give you a dialogue to delay the message by 1-10 minutes or whatever.
I'm reposting this so it gets some notoriety, it shouldn't be too hard but would be amazingly helpful when texting some people and you want to delay a message or something.

There is no clock icon for scheduling messages in the + menu
Please post verified path for finding said icon so messages may be scheduled.

Add read receipts
You should do read receipts because it's gets people frustrated because people will never know if there message has been read or not so you should add read receipts to make this app much bettet
