    Need private conversation.. and it can be easily accessible pin/pattern protection would be great.. and a fake notification for private chats...

  3. Preview photos taken in app before sending.

    When taking a photo with the camera function in the app you are unable to preview the photo full size before sending. With as small as the thumbnail is in the message line it can be hard to tell if the photo is not blurry or you got what you wanted in the picture

    I loved the feature on hangout when you shared an image with the all that it would allow the current conversations instead of having to select people from the address book.

  11. Way to get rid of GIF option for message attachments

    When the "+" is pressed, the GIF option becomes available. It links to Giphy, and has all sorts of juvenile/inappropriate animated gifs. Please give us a way to disable it.

  19. turn off "search by phone number"

    When I start typing someone's name into a new message box, it seems like it's also searching by phone number as if I'm using an old number pad keyboard. I have to type in someone's full name just to narrow it down to see them when selecting a recipient. I don't search by phone number and it would be much more convenient just to search by name without having all the matching phone numbers come up. I usually type in "bor" to get to John Boruff's name and he should be the only one that pops up when I type…
