Please give an option to NOT bring up the keyboard by swiping up. This function makes it difficult to scroll down through long messages.
The swipe up keyboard covers long messages. There needs to be the option to only bring up the keyboard when you tap in the typing box.

Text after a no answer phone call from the phone application in Android / Samsung Note 5
A screen pop-up giving user the opportunity to send an immediate text after hanging up from a no answer or voice message. The Samsung Mesaging app offers that now. It's a feature I and other users very much enjoy for convenience. Otherwise absolutely love Textra. Glenn from San Diego

remove myself from group messages
I would like a way to remove myself from a group message. I answered the person, but then I also see everyone else's texts. My phone keeps notifying me I have a text, but in reality it's not for me, just someone else's response to the group text.

Message view with smartwatch
I would love to be able to see a conversation on my smartwatch most texting apps allow you to view the conversation (or most of it) and scroll though in my mind this is the only thing missing in textra please add it!

Have a choice of app icon
Much preferred the old logo to the newly updated one. Didn't recognize it at all. Maybe I'm a creature of habit? :)

Improve contact search
When starting a new message, I am trying to choose a contact to send to. When I start typing their name, the top results are incredibly poor. For example, I want to message Eileen, so I type 'e' and the first result is Adam? It makes no sense and is very difficult to get to contact I am looking for

Move the "hit (send) button to the top!!
As I often use my phone to send sms it appears that I often send the texto before I ended it. That's because I correct my words so often and the hit (send) button is to close to my text that's when I try to correct a word next to the button it send...
So an idea here, move it to the top (in the middle top) !
So we can auto correct ourselves without worrying to send half a message! Thanks for reading me.

Reverse inbound/outbound messages
Simple idea... The ability to reverse the location of the inbound and outbound messages (so that incoming messages are on the right, and outgoing messages appear on the left) would be a nice feature, especially for someone like me who just naturally associates the messages that way. Great app!

remove bubbles
Provide the option to not have bubbles, just a fully justified text box, so the text box extends across the width of the screen. Bubbles reduce the available screen estate and reduce amount of text and the number of text visible on screen without scrolling.

Having the ability to text a person and the message shows that the person received the message, read the message, and did didn't check it.
Having the ability to know if someone received your text, read it, and that it was send is important. I know that an app like What'sApp has these features and it would be awesome if textra had these features. Please!!!!!!!!

To have the option of blocking messages from unidentified senders or from senders not present in my contacts.
Same as in Calls Blacklist.

Group sms from csv/excell
It should be possible to send a group sms with address from a csv/Excel file in combination with addresses from the phone contactlist.

Temporarily mute group chats
Currently you can mute group conversations. However, it would be great if the app would automatically unmute them after a specific period of time, like the Facebook messaging app.

Off-white background
It would be nice to add more variation to white backround. Off-white (this: http://i.stack.imgur.com/glGUR.png) is a Google material evergreen option, very nice with pure-white bubbles on it.

Tik Mark for sent messages
Sir after sending message we cannot identify that message has been sent or not.....
Plz add a Tik Mark underneath the bubble to show that message has been sent....

Dark background after launch
After launch by a while shows dark background and it's look bad with white theme.

The only thing this app seems to be missing is the ability to be able to see if someone has read your messages.
There needs to be a way to see if someone has read your texts. Something like what the iPhone has. Once the message has been read, it says read underneath the message. I thought this app had the ability to do that and that's the whole reason I downloaded it. Can this not be added with a new update?
