  1. Do not mark all received messages as read.

    Marking all received messages as read doesn't allow apps like missed call reminder or alert.me to function. Alternatively, enhance the notification options at the sender level to include playing a sound even if the system volume is muted.

    Create an optional box that the message you are currently drafting is typed in like on other texting apps.

  4. Bold Unread Messages

    I would like to see unread SMS or MMS being bold. Sometimes it's confusing as to which have been read or unread at quick glance. I think this would be a great addition to the app! Other than that, I love Textra!

  5. Add contact icons in SMS threads :)

    The new method is not good! Longer to get to. Not congruent with the rest of the UI. The old method was the same as the system method.

  14. Textra should recognize addresses like the stock app and turn them into Google maps links.

    Textra should recognize street addresses like the stock text app and turn them into Google maps links. Textra already does this for phone numbers and email address's. Do it for street addresses too.

    Make a PC app to read and reply SMS while working on PC and sync all messages across devices so if a user have more than one phone, buy a new phone or working on PC he/she can easily get full inbox on all the signed in devices (phones, tablets and specially on PC).

  20. Swiping away notifications

    The issue with the app now, is where. I am using my phone and the overlay comes on the screen for a new message and I need to keep working on what I wS doing I swipe it away off the screen. THE PROBLEM is that the app now says I read that message when I didn't. Would love for this to get fixed.
