    I believe that it would be helpful for there to be a refreah button that would cause the phome to do an automatic sync. that way messages would be received faster

  5. Ability to globally block texts (ex. +001 numbers = out of country)

    Spammers in 3rd world countries can buy SIM cards with free texting for cheap. They have (x20) card boxes that spam out hundreds/min before the card is used up then it goes on to the next.

    Be able to block out of country numbers would be a big bonus to this program.

  7. remove 'sent' for previous messages

    currently the 'sent' or 'delivered' tag stays unerring each message. I propose that this be hidden for all except the most recent message. or at least have an option to do that

    when you sned a link to a YouTube video on iOS it shows a preview to that video
    also I think Google did the same with their messaging app could the same be done for textra?

  12. Please add screen color options

    I am not fond of the dark or black but o can't use the white as it is pearcingly bright. please allow us to add background images or at least other color options other than just black, dark and "light" (which is just white).
    Please please please!!!! I am a paying customer. I would really hate to change textra for another app.

  13. Portrait view lock.

    Top app. Advised it to many friends. One big function is missing, IMO : possibility to lock the app in portrait of landscape view. Like, you know, when you're in bed, your phone blip, and you want to check the message. BAM, landscape, have to do a 90% turn with your neck. Annoying. Despite that, all the rest is perfect, nothing to say.

    I Think There Should Be A "Cloud" To Store Messages And Media To For Long Term Keeping. Ex. If I Get A New Device And Download Textra There Should Be An Option For Me To Restore My Messages From The Last Known Device ..

  16. Text Emoji

    Incomming text emojis like :-), *-), B-) etc. stay as text and will not be transfered to emojis. The same happend by typing text emojis.
    Text emojis let the SMS be small.
