  1. View pictures taken within Textra larger before sending

    If you use the inbuilt Textra camera to take a picture all you get is a tiny thumbnail and clicking on it does not allow you to see it full sized.
    This makes it hard to figure out if you actually took a picture you want to send or not before sending.

  2. Sync Light & Dark with Sun

    Sync Light & Dark With Sunrise/Sunset times! Makes the function more useful! Going dark at 10pm doesn't help!

  3. Give a phone number

    I recently turned my phone off and can only use it over wifi. I think the app should give you the choice of receiving a number from the app when they download it .

  4. vCard

    When receive a vCard or a calendar event the application parses it as text instead of vCard or calendar. Can we have the ability to receive and import vCard into the phone book and calendar into the device calendar application

  6. Option to mute multiple back-to-back messages from the same number

    Right now whenever I get a message, Textra plays the notification sound, turns on my screen, and adds a notification with the message. All well and good. When someone sends me 2, 3, or more texts back to back, all of this happens 2, 3, or more times back to back. It can get annoying.

    I would love an option that works like so when a new message comes in:
    1) If the message's conversation has no unread messages, deliver notifications as normal.
    2) If the conversation does have unread messages, do not play the notification sound, do not turn…

  7. Type out a message before adding contacts

    Please make it possible to type out a message before adding the contacts. It just makes more sense. Also the typed message can then be saved as a draft, without adding the contacts.

  8. Merge contacts with multiple numbers in contact screen

    Please provide a setting (or keep it as default, whichever way you think is better) to merge those contacts with multiple numbers under a single name, with a dropdown menu to choose between numbers.

  10. Show date and time of recipients text

    Cant this program show the date and time in the text thread of the recipients text? That would be so usefull, yet it doesnt happen that way.

  11. Subscript: nerds and the college community NEED this. Image search: this would just be cool and a time saver.

    install subscript text as a long press option like the superscript (only numbers will be needed...probably)

    use a Windows approach to search for images in the search bar i.e. "type: image"

    Basically like the 'details' option in iMessage that provides a menu to view images sent between everyone and contact info of the person(s) in the conversation

    I would like to have a setting in the notifications to override silent. Set volume to maximum and play a sound.

    After I delete messages, the messages return. Figure out a way to avoid deleted messages from returning.

  18. Make resyncing data not delete from Textra

    I needed to backup my texts and, for some reason, they hadn't been sent to the stock messaging app so I followed the advice here ( https://textra.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/249611-how-to-backup-my-messages ) in order to sync the data from Textra to stock messaging.

    Instead of syncing Textra data to stock, it synced the other way a removed a lot of the messages I was trying to back up.

    Is it possible to make resyncing perhaps merge the texts from both apps instead of deleting from Textra?

  19. In-app notifications option

    I would appreciate this functionality: if Textra is open to a conversation and gets a notification from a different conversation, tapping the notification would switch conversations rather than opening the quick-reply window. Thanks!

  20. Text while Textra time delays your message.

    I use a time delay one my texts in case I screw up and have to change something after I hit send, but the issue is I can't send consecutive messages without waiting 9 seconds for my delay to happen. This is the inconvenient surprisingly often, and I'd really like a system where a delayed message moves out of the text box so I can begin working on my next message while the current one is sending.
