  1. An indicator line to separate read and unread messages

    Just provide a line saying "unread messages" in each thread followed by the unread messages in that particular thread, which will be very helpful for huge message receivers from multiple sources. This is best appreciated in lava 504q+ mobile model which works on kit Kat.

  2. Dot dot dot menu in popup menu instead of at top

    The dot dot dot menu being at the top is extremely inconvenient and a pain when you want to do something like lock messages as they are received. It should be an easy UI change to move or copy the menu into the quick popup that appears after tapping on a message. Instead of having it appear at an absolute position at the top it can be relative to the bubble that appears. You shouldn't have to rewrite very much code if any.

  5. To somehow make it easier to scroll through a message while you are composing it. I find the current experience janky.

    I think allowing a way to hide the keyboard and actually review a message properly. Every time I touch a point that I want to scroll to, or insert the cursor, it jumps and Janks around and I can't see the cursor, or what I am writing. Ironing this experience out and allowing a way to hide the keyboard while scrolling through a long message, for the purpose of review prior to sending would be key stuff. Otherwise, you guy's kick ass. Great app, always improving!

  6. Sender info as header should also be possible when an SMS is shared in anu way, as you have provided in 3.24 for share via email

    When an SMS ia forwarded as a new sms, let the sender info (number, name if available) be added as a header

    Textra 3.24 had added this feature when an SMS is shared via email... Make this facility available if SMS is forwarded via SMS or Whatsapp.

  9. Customize Send Button Icon

    Simple idea but it would be cool to be able to have multiple options for how the send button looks. I noticed it changed recently and was immediately noticeable. Wish we had more options.

  11. A .mp4 category? Clip with sound trimmed for MMS

    Takes a lot of time to trim a .mp4 down to mms size. And often they are used once and deleted. Would be nice to find a searchable archive somewhere?

    Since the installation of the latest Textra it says there is one unread message.
    Tried to make all the messages signed as readed - didn't help.
    In the original text application every thing is OK.

    Be able to see all future messages you scheduled for a certain contact in one place in case you scheduled it like a week ago and want to cancel it you don't need to search through the messages to find it.

  15. Support Samsung/Other Manufacturers' Special Screen Modes (split, etc.)

    Textra is a wonderful, feature-rich app and my preferred SMS/MMS app: however, it's missing a few features. One of those is supporting the special screen modes that some make Android phone manufacturers have, such as Samsung's (and I believe LG's) split-screen mode, and Samsung's multi-view, pop-out, minimized, air view, and other specialized screen modes.

    Split-screen view is coming to the Android ecosystem inn the anticipated Nougat release of the operating system. It makes sense for Textra to also support at least the most common of the manufacturer's enhanced screen modes.

  16. Lock/ saved messages

    There should be option to save messages in conversations so they won't get deleted and so you can keep them for quuck view to reference it's content.

  17. Option to remove call buttons

    Its easy to call someone on accident especially if you slide left on the main screen a call shortcut is displayed.

  18. Add a Meme feature (add text to top and bottom of any picture before you send)

    The texting app line has this feature. When you choose a picture, you're able to hit a Meme button and add a text overlay to the top and bottom of the picture. It's extremely convenient because I no longer need to use a separate app.

    When sending more than one bubble at onces the last bottom bubble should contain the pointer and leave small space btn the above bubbles like in IOS

  20. Quick Reply auto close V3.24

    Funny, new feature in v3.24 doesn't actually exist.

    NEW: Do you wish Quick Reply didn't auto-close after sending a message, so you can continue to chat? See Settings > Customize Notifications > Auto Close Quick Reply.

    "Auto Close Quick Reply" isn't in the Settings on my phone.
