  1. Side menus witin conversations

    I would like the the ability to access all my conversations without having to leave current convo. It would be a side menu swipe within a conversation so you can look and pick another conversation to go into.

  2. Fix cut off emojis.

    When selecting emojis, they all seem to be cut off, so you're only able to see half of the emojis. This is a new bug. Please fix.

  3. Setting for maximum message age

    A setting for a number of days after which messages are deleted. E.g. Delete any messages older than X days.

  4. Ability to double tap my message text to select a word

    When I want to delete a word that is a few words back, it'd REALLY be nice to be able to just double tap on a word liked you can do everywhere else instead of having to do the long hold. The long hold almost never works for me since there's no indication of when you've held long enough.

    I can even do this right here in this feedback app.

  6. Sending video our GIF. I'M on Verizon, can send 30mb GIF on Verizon messages but not with textra. And I changed the limit in textra settin.

  7. Indicate the text message not reading like the iPhone system on the logo

    Give the same indication as the Apple system for the text message to know how many message are not read
    Could be à great idea for people where coming from iOS system

  8. Settings option to remove the dual sim selector icon! It's too easy to click it accidentally and apply charges!!!

    You've added the sim selector icon, which is really great. But you haven't given any choice whether user wants it active or not... Why add some functionality but no preference/settings entry for it?!

  9. New texts from the bottom

    With large phones like a note 7, it is easier to use your thumb on texts closer to the bottom of the screen. An option to have the newest texts at the bottom vs the top of the screen would be great.

  10. Only view mobile numbers

    The app sees every number in my contacts. It would be great if it only sees mobile numbers, since I can't text landlines.

  11. Sharing things from other apps opens the full app and your recent conversation

    This is something that I feel is sorely missing. If for example I am trying to share a youtube video with a group chat, I can't do it using the share button on top of the video etc. I will have to copy link and open full app and then paste and send

  12. Swiping between conversations

    I'd like to be able to swipe left and right between conversations. I think it'd make texting multiple people smoother. I know swiping right in a text takes you back to the conversation list, but I think this option would be great.

  18. Possible Bugs with notifications

    I have found 2 possible bugs with Textra notifications:

    • Too many notifications coming in at once temporarily lock the UI thread.

    • Multiple "Cannot get MMS" messages tend to cause conversations to have persistent unread message notifications until the conversation is deleted.

    Let me expain my situation that has caused me to find these bugs. I cannot get sms or mms messages at my work (I am aware that this is an issue with my service provider and not with the app). Pretty much all day I get notices that Textra "Cannot get mms."

  20. Sync messages with original app

    Can someone suggest how I can keep Textra in sync with the original phone default app, so that deleting messages within a conversation would automatically delete them in the that app? I have a Samsung Galaxy s5
