  1. SMS vs MMS

    In my opinion, MMS should not be used unless there is audio and/or video content. Sending to a group is not in and of itself justification to use MMS in place of SMS. My old "dumb" cell phone behaved as I want my Android phone to work in this regard.

  3. Customise default color of avatars that have no thumbnail

    Currently, avatars that don't have custom thumbnails use the same color as the system bars, i.e. blue. I would like to choose a different color for those circle avatars to distinguish it from the system bar colors.

    I have a dual sim phone and I don't know which sim is being use to send my messages, and which sim recieved the text.

    We should be able to add favorite to textra only, I don't want all my favorite contact to show up, I will like to be able to select the favorite just for message.

  11. Able to send msgs from dual sim

    This is the best SMS app so far as for as dual sim sending is not available... It would be very much better if there is option for this

    Show status under the most recent sent message only. Current implementation uses too much screen space and looks bad.

  15. Have a menu button in the conversation view.

    The menu button in the conversation view would have a settings shortcut and a theme option. The theme option would take me to a page where I could individualize the colors and background of the previously selected conversatin. And be able to save a different style (colors and/or background image) for each conversation. And maybe change the way the conversation list slides back into view.   16. textra keyboard is not used/ seen

    I downloaded textra before and it was okay but when i downloaded it again. The keyboard is not the same with textra. It's still using the android keyboard. Help?

    Ce serait bien de pouvoir utiliser la réponse rapide en mode paysage. Lorsqu'un jeu en mode paysage est lancé, si on souhaite répondre à un message l'écran se tourne en mode portrait et cela est dérangeant, merci d'essayer d'arranger cela.

  19. Notification in tray with preview of text when inside another Conversation

    When inside another Conversation or in another app have the text recieved be displayed in the tray as preview and quick response option similar to iPhone
