  1. Create a restore defaults option.

    It would be handy to have a restore default settings option. Perhaps one for system settings, and another for color settings. I edited all the conversations to have different colors but when I wanted to change mine for all the conversations I inconveniently had to edit each conversation. It would be awesome to restore color defaults, or set the defaults and apply them to all conversations.

  2. Texts are disappearing

    I've sent texts to several different people - when I view the conversation, the text I sent is gone... No draft or anything... It just disappears. I have the latest version update & using a Note 3

  3. Text style Emojis

    It would be great if you add icons for these text emojis ;-) :-P :-) :'( :-| :-* like other sms apps. Cuz when I type these smilies i see them in text formats they're not turning into actual emojis.

  4. Switch swipe direction for choose between previous and next word.

    I am left handed and for some reason I'm swiping down to go forward instead of backward. It would be cool to have an option to inverse this and I literally stop and think each time to decide which direction I need to go. I'm usually wrong because my mind always thinks of back as down not as up. Maybe it's just me. It would be awesome if I had the option to inverse that.

  6. Merge conversations/contacts when country code is added

    Textra starts a new conversation for the same number, but with the country code added in front. E.g. I'm in Australia, and 0412345678 and +61412345678 are the same number. Sometimes when people reply, their numbers show up with the country code and Textra thinks they are different. Funny thing is it manages to still hook them up with the right names in my contacts list.

    I'd really like the option of downloading new fonts or just having a wider variety/selection of fonts to choose from other than system and textra's. This is by far my favorite texting app just wish there were more font customization options.

  10. Quick Reply Contact Pictures From Any Screen

    Many Apps Like GoSMS PRO or Facebook Messenger have floating contact bubbles that appear on the corner of their screen when they've received a text message. The ability allows the user to reply to the contact without going fully into the app. The contact bubbles could then be dragged to the bottom of the screen to delete them from view. This setting should be added to the app as a quick reply option. It can be useful with the speed of Textra to become a more powerful and efficient app.

  14. Auto Send Voice Message On Release

    Basically like how what's app does voice messages. Right now you hold down to record and when you let go you have to hit send to send the message. I'd like and option to just have it send the voice message after I'm done recording like Whatsapp does.

  15. Bug report for Android: attachment button does not work properly

    Bug report: Android on Galaxy S5: when keyboard is closed, pressing the '+' to add an attachment changes the '+' to an 'x', but does not open the attachment options. I have to press the 'x' then the '+' again.

  16. Option to LOCK specific Chat

    Sir please bring the option to LOCK specific conversation, NOT like thatuseless PRIVATE BOX present in other messaging apps. The option should lockthe conversation with FOUR digit PIN, so whenever we tap on conversation,it should ask for PIN, and this option SHOULD NOT ENCRYPT the messages sothat other messaging apps will be able to READ MESSAGES of LOCKEDconversation.     I'd love for the emojis in the app to match the ones in my keyboard drawer. I hate those ugly Android emoji blob things and if I never saw one again it'd still be too soon.
