Textra should be upgraded to allow the option of choosing the backround of the messages. Or each chat individually1 vote -
A separate Tab for Muted conversations
Give an option to have or create 2 tabs. The 1st (main tab) should list all the conversations. The 2nd should list all the muted conversations.

Option to backup list of senders that are muted.
Give an option to backup the list of senders that are muted, so that if required the same list can be restored on a new device without starting all over again to mute each of them one by one.

It would be awesome if Textra Team could include a private inbox with/without password which ever is easier, like sms go. You guys are fantastic and I love this app but I really need a private inbox.. Please

Copy option whem code/phone numer appears in message
Hey, it's like must have option. I often receive things such as verification codes and they are already underlined in the Textra, but it's impossible to just tap on them and chose "copy" option from the menu. And it would be awesome if you could make it possible (like in GO sms) :)

Conversation settings change before sending a message.
When creating a new conversation, it would be nice to be able to change settings and behavior before any messages have been sent. That way, I could for example change the group setting to bulk rather than chat beforehand.

Text scheduling order rearrangement
Instead of having your scheduled text appear Sent and having the "this message is scheduled" icon pop up next to it after half a second, maybe switch the order.
I always freak out for a sec when I think my scheduled message didn't schedule correctly and just sent normally.

Counter messages by contact
Would be great to show somewhere the number of messages for each contact, in order to delete some when one have hundreds (or thousands) of messages for only one contact

Lock screen notification different from unlocked screen
When the screen is locked, have separate settings that allow you to mask the contact or text content, and see the info by pulling down on the notification. This way we can leave our phones out, and not have to worry about annoying friends and family and their prying eyes.

Transitioning Message from Quick Reply
I've found myself repeatedly frustrated by typing in the quick reply in the notification bar, and then accidentally hitting the notification itself, which opens the app. The problem with that is my unfinished message doesn't carry over to the app- could that be fixed?

Android Wear Notifications
The way Google Messenger does notifications is much better for the Wear platform, especially for group messages. it shows which person in the group sent the latest mess and also shows the contents of the mess without having to click on the notice

Research your users
Maybe don't hit a loyal user with ads and hit them up for money. Might not be a bad idea to cut the bullshit with the dating app ads. The first piece of shit ad was for Zoosk. I'm 38, and I'm married. You're being deleted. That was a shit ass move Textra.
