  1. Phone conversation icon in an open conversation

    It would be nice if you could initiate a phone conversation from an open conversation with a given contact - e.g. by placing phone icons on the top bar. I've seen this solution in a similar application - a useful feature.

  2. how do you start a new paragraph

    I used to hit the bottom right enter button to start a new paragraph, but several months ago it was changed to the send button. how do you get to start a new paragraph?

  4. Repeat notifications with nonstop options

    Repeat notifications with nonstop options. Ex. Repeat 10x the audio for 1 minute.  This option would be very useful for me and others for an important warning (such as an alarm event).

  8. Move SIM select icon out of the text field

    The icon seems to overlap with a bit of the text field in portrait orientation and obscures short words, punctuation, etc behind it. Fixing the margins there would be nice, but maybe also let us move the button into a submenu or long-press action or something

  10. Ability to change the word color Textra on the notification.

    With a black Textra theme, and Night mode on Samsung, the word is hard to read on the notification, so I would like to use the secondary color for the notification alert.

  11. No notification and Mark as read for specific words

    I receive a ton of spam text messages that always have the name BELINDA in all caps, I am definitely not Belinda and I definitely don't want to click the links for her 500 dollar Amazon gift card. it would be cool if there was a feature to mark as read and disable notifications based on a wildcard in the body

  15. Dual Screen Support

    I own the LG 8x ThinQ and the stock app has the message app shift to landscape mose and pushes the keyboard to the bottom screen. It feels like using the old sidekick phone or the old G2.

  17. Bug - can't find group when search string has a trailing slave

    When I swipe (with Swype) a name, Textra can't find the matching group because Swype adds a final space character (as a separator) and Textra can't find the group when the search string has a space at the end. Oddly, it can find an individual's name with an extra space at the end - just not a group.
    That should be fixed, but maybe you could add: if there are no matches, show "fuzzy" matches, maybe in a different font or color. Maybe add a checkbox to temporarily enable fuzzy search at any time.
    Also, maybe add a check box…
