  1. Support for iOS reactions when the sender's device is in a different language

    I recently got the update where instead of getting "Liked '<original message here>'", an emoji is shown instead. This is a great feature and has helped to reduce clutter in my group messages.

    One of my friends' phones default language is German. When he reacts to a message on his iOS phone, it sends the "Liked..." message as above, but translated. So it comes out as „<original message here> ein Lachen hinzugefugt“. It would be great if this feature were expanded to support when I receive reactions from non-English phones!

  3. Samsung watch

    Would love this app to be on the Samsung watch 4! I don't want to switch messaging platforms, but not having watch support here (as far as I can tell) is a bit of a letdown.

  5. Revert to partial selection for copy text

    I used to be able to long press on text in a message and copy just the part I want, but in some update this was taken away. I never realized how much I do this before it was taken away. Thank you!

    Adding groups or tabs for conversations, mainly to differentiate your actual texts from two-factor code texts or other spam/automated messages. A way to have actual conversations/contacts in one place

  10. Colors only in group messages option

    The benefit of having different colors for different people is to easily distinguish who said what. This isn't important in 1 on 1 conversations. It's really nice for group messages. There could be a toggle that would allow the default color to be used in all messages to a single person.

    also we had a trouble in choosing the vibration style or patterns when receiving new massage! Just add an option of selecting the vibration styles and patterns when receiving a new notification.

  12. Picture Reactions

    I love that we can react to texts, but I'd really love if we could also react to pictures and if somebody's reaction would show up on the picture instead of showing "Mom loved an image" in five separate texts (she loves absolutely every picture I send). Lol!! It would also help when other people like one or two images and I have no idea which ones were liked. Please!

  13. Personalize Background

    It would be great to be able to change the background within the conversation screen to a specific color or picture from the gallery. For someone who spends a lot of time texting, it really helps with mood to have the ability to change scenery. Thank you for considering.

  14. retrieve deleted messages

    at least for 24 hours. I accidentally deleted chats that I previously blocked and have. I way to retrieve or find the numbers because they weren't saved but still needs the chat content

  15. Block texts by those outside contacts

    There is a button that is supposed to let you block texts by people whose emails aren't in your contact list, but it does nothing for the millions of political spam texts I get. Please let me block spam from unknown numbers, or at least block area codes or do wildcard blocking.

    please allow the ability to change the text color. with only having one option for receiving messages, when you choose a light color, it doesn't work the white text. if you choose a dark color, it doesnt work with black text.

  17. Custom Fonts in Textra

    Textra has a lot of customization features, such as lots of options for color, bubble style, and emoji style.

    However, while Textra seems to be good at everything else, font customization doesn't really seem like a strong suit of theirs.

    Font customization is what gives an app it's personality. If you're a fan of a cursive script font, that means you're fancy and like the reminder of a handwritten text. A pixelated font means you're a gamer and spend most of your life online. A serif font tells you that someone just likes things simple and plain. All of this…

  18. Need to Add Person to Chat

    Not "contacts". The current chat. I could start a whole new chat with the extra person, but then the chat history with the original group is lost. Honestly, I am surprised this feature is not available. It is infuriating not to have it.

  20. Send over wifi

    My Verizon network is down. We had a death in the family so there's a lot of texting going on. I'm realizing for the first time this app won't work over wifi. I'd love that feature added.
