  1. Make a Textra keyboard!

    I love using the iOS emojis, but mine go back to this 😊. I would love and use a keyboard if they made one! just make sure that it can do gifs, because I use those quite frequently.

  2. New Message custom color

    The accent color is a great idea. I was thinking it would be great to be able to customize the color of the floating textra icon when in the app to start a new message. Currently it's just the white textra icon. If there already is a way to change the color, please let me know

  4. clearer videos

    videos from iPhones are horribly digitized (and other androids). iPhone to iPhone videos are amazing. Can you make that happen with this app?

  8. Import/Export Textra settings

    I think it would be useful to be able to export/import our customization settings (font size, notification sounds, colors, etc) to a transferrable file. It would save people a ton of time when setting up a new phone to not have to go through and change them all each time :)

  10. Copy one word out of received message

    Why can't I copy one word, sentence or code out of a received message?
    The only option is copy the whole message into something else then extract the code, number or words I want or flick between this and another app typing the code as I go. Really frustrating and I've been using this text app for years

  11. Composing Before Addressing

    Please allow users to compose their message before entering an address. This would require showing the composition box/area when one first clicks to start a message.

    Sometimes it is useful to write first, quickly when something comes to mind. Right now, users have to stop and find or type a contact name(s) before composing. This can break the train of thought.

    Writing first also adds a type of security. If the address box is empty, it doesn't matter if one inadvertently presses the send button before the message is ready to send.

  16. Blocklist & Delete

    currently when we blocklist, we can't delete the message easily, and it shows up in other text apps as well as windows, etc. we need a combined function that blocks the numbers then deletes the text as one button.

  17. Galaxy Watch App Compatibility

    This app needs to be compatible with smart watches. I just seen that Pulse and Handcent have an app out already. You're one the most popular messaging apps I know and recommend to everyone. Textra really needs to make an app compatible with the smart watches like pulse SMS and handcent have already done.

    Option to have a chat open to your last read text rather than starting from the bottom most recent and having to scroll up backwards. Especially in group chats.

  20. Call from text

    When you get a text from somebody it would be very helpful to be able to just touch their phone number and make a phone call instead of having to leave your text and then go to a calling text
