  1. Highlight and copy only a portion of a message.

    Say there is a message that contains text with an address or something in the body, it is not possible to highlight only a few words like in every other app. Holding down on the message brings up the delete message side screen instead.

    Exclusive emojis only Textra users can see... Maybe users can make/suggest them? Interactive emojis. Different levels of emojis. Different genres. Different rated, G, PG, R, X. You could sell emoji upgrades/banks of new emojis. Maybe I could create a Textra II based on these emojis, again only Textra users could use/see them. Contact me...

  5. Turn sideways to handwrite

    Yeah like the iphone. It's the only feature I enjoyed. You could easily handwrite something by turning the phone sideways and drawing/writing something out to send to someone.

  6. Problem with responding to group text

    When I respond to a group text that someone else initiated it appears to be sent to the entire group in the app but actually only goes to the person who initiated causing a lot of confusion. I wish I could upload a screenshot to provide more info. The Group Messaging setting (bulk or chat) is only for when I initiated the message.

  8. Show last message from on main Textra screen

    On the main Textra screen to the right of the persons initials it shows a bit of the first line of the last message sent or received. Sometimes it is confusing or hard to remember if the snip of the message showing is from you or the person who sent it. Would be nice to have the first bit of the first line if the message be preceeded by something like Me:. For example, Me: So I saw last night...

  9. Add access to photo files

    This would give access to many user local icons, gifs and photos saved in the photo galary. This would require giving access to the system file manager in Android or IOS.

  10. 3d looking bubbles

    I wonder if you might add 3d looking bubbles... just a light narrow band on the top of the bubble and a light narrow band on the bottom should do it.

  11. Editing option

    I accidentally just sent this to the help section instead of the idea section. I would really like to see the editing option that the gboard has. You can select edit from the toolbar above the keyboard and it immediately switches to arrow keys and select so you can precisely edit longer messages. It's the only feature I prefer on the gboard to on here.

    when tap a message, is showen menu
    please make in settings option that user can sort content in this menu and eliminate text of items (only shapes is showen)

    i wana have a suggestion that, the sms delivery option for each sim (i mean separate for each sim) will be better,,,
    because ,,for sending sms on some networks the delivery option should be off

  17. Cannot tackup a contact's messages

    In Textra I can see all the messages for one of my contacts, but I cannot backup any of the messages. In fact, the contact's name does not show up in any backup's list. If I use the Samsung message processor I can't see that contact. When I go back to the Textra processor I can see all of them. I'm new at this stuff and I need help to get this contact's messages available to other apps. Can anyone help me? Regards Wally

  18. Reply to a specific message

    Hi! I think it would be so nice to swipe right or left to reply to a specific message in sms and mms. And if the person we are replying to is not using textra, they would receive a message saying "Replied to: the message we replied to" if you get what I mean.
