  4. Font Styles

    I'd really like the option of downloading new fonts or just having a wider variety/selection of fonts to choose from other than system and textra's. This is by far my favorite texting app just wish there were more font customization options.

  5. When sharing from other app to Textra, display contacts from recent conversations, and not our contact favorites

    Just like when you share to WhatsApp, or Facebook Messenger, or any other SMS app, it displays your most recent contacts/conversations to share to. Textra displays our contact list favorites, and it's annoying because you have to search for your contact each time. If I'm texting someone and I say oh wait let me send you a link, and share to textra, their name should be at the top of the list!

  6. Smilies key instead of next line

    8sms and probably some other messaging clients have a setting, where you can choose a keyboard mode, ie. what button defaults in bottom right corner of keyboard [where enter should be] smilies or enter [new line], i use smilies a lot, so it would be handy to have this kind of setting in textra, now it defaults for new line [seriously, who uses newline in sms?:)]

  8. Date format

    I'm in Europe, but the program is using US date format. It would be nice if dates were shown as dd-mm-yy.

  9. Textra Wear

    I am one of the many people who have a smart watch and I actually use it a lot, it would be great if you guys had Textra for Android Wear. I can read a message but if I swipe it away it's gone and I have to use my phone to see the messages again. My default texting app, I don't ever use. I, obviously, only use Textra. So, I would like to be able to compose a new message and be able to refer back to old messages. I'm actually shocked that you guys don't already have this…

  11. Texting from Computer

    Making a chrome extension for Sync and allowing for messages to be sent from the chrome extension through the phone would be very useful. it would make this app the best on the market without a doubt

  14. Block anonymous SMS

    Hello,
    I often receive SMS without the phone number of sender. It is impossible in Textra to detect these messages as SPAM.
    I would suggest you to add a feature that allows to reject any messages that have not a phone number.

  15. Support Samsung/Other Manufacturers' Special Screen Modes (split, etc.)

    Textra is a wonderful, feature-rich app and my preferred SMS/MMS app: however, it's missing a few features. One of those is supporting the special screen modes that some make Android phone manufacturers have, such as Samsung's (and I believe LG's) split-screen mode, and Samsung's multi-view, pop-out, minimized, air view, and other specialized screen modes.

    Split-screen view is coming to the Android ecosystem inn the anticipated Nougat release of the operating system. It makes sense for Textra to also support at least the most common of the manufacturer's enhanced screen modes.

  16. Textra desktop widget

    Textra phone desktop widget or better support for stock messaging widget. very buggy when clicking messages in stock widget. Sometimes I have to restart phone because it says app not installed for ALL apps. Please at least fix bugs involved with stock messaging widget, but I would love a whole new widget with the beautiful UI I love about Textra.

  17. Allow to copy text within a message, not the whole message

    Currently, I can only copy the whole text message. It would be convenient to be able to just copy parts of the text within the bubble, especially for getting addresses, phone numbers, or tracking info.

  19. Leave group Text!

    We need the option to be able to leave a group text! It would also be nice to have the ability to add people to an existing group text. I am a Pro user, but have to revert to stock texting app when a group text is going on, so that I can add or remove people (or remove myself). Very inconvenient. With as amazing as Textra is, it is very disappointing that the stock texting app is superior in this aspect.

  20. The "archive" option

    Before I used Google Messenger, and there was the "archive" option, to save old conversations, and me and my friends used a lot even the sms in textra and this leaves a list of messages on the main screen, so , In my opinion, the app would be more complete with this functionality.
