block listed message visibility
in your top bar next to the search icon it would be extremely helpful to place an indicator icon of some sort that would indicate you received a blocked message and if you pressed that icon it would open the blocked chat with the new message

mms, do not download messages from unknown contacts
Yatta text has a nice feature that I think you should implement. When you receive an MMS message from an unknown contact, instead of downloading the message automatically, you get a normal text notification, but instead of the MMS content, a button is shown called download. This would let the user better control what messages are passed onto the device. Also an option to outright block MMS texts from unknown contacts would be good too.

block images, MMS from unknown numbers
I have textra images save automatically, but I didn't want unknown numbers sending images. with the election nearing, getting all kinds of spam messages. I just want images not to show up unless they are from my contacts list.

Please stop the font outline when the app is in dark mode. it looks very bulky and almost hard to read!

Silence notifications when Android is silenced
Textra is one of my favorite apps, however when I set the Android volume to turn off sound I still get Textra notification sounds. I'd like to prevent that when in public spaces where ringing is frowned upon.
Since Textra is the best texting app on the net, maybe I'm missing something.1 vote -
Link to stop and block
It would be so great if you could make a link to send a STOP message to spammers followed by a block update. One link to fo what takes me 4 characters of typing plus Send and add to blocklist.

Send a silent message
Sometimes I want to send a message to someone during the night, but I don't want to wake them; or if the recipient could be in a meeting I don't want to disturb them. It would be useful to be able to send a message that does not produce a notification sound or vibration on the recipient's phone.

Pin blocked messages to show at top of blocked.
When you go to blocked messages.. you may want to keep an eye on specific blocked messages. it would be great to pin a blocked message that will show at the top so I don't have to scroll to find it. I keep an eye on 3 contacts that I keep blocked. and I hate scrolling to find them. thank you.

Hearting in other languages
I just got a text that said "Korisnik obožava "Message text"" and I realized that you guys only display hearts when they come from iPhones set to English language. Would be nice to include Bosnian, Russian, French and probably also Spanish

Add Voice Messaging Option
This would be really helpful for people whose primary language is not English and cannot read English that well. Being able to send a voice message would be really helpful in communicating with someone. Don't get this confused with voice to text, totally different
