group messaging options on the fly
as with Verizon Messages, it would be great to be able to switch between bulk and MMS within the conversation versus going to settings. As well, it would be great to be able to add/remove participants and attribute unique individual colors to different participants. Btw, love the app!!

pin favorite contacts to top
Rather than pinning messages, pin small icons with the user name in a bar at the top of the app.
Set bar to hold 3 or 4 ppl, and users can swipe left or right for more, or pull down / tap to expand for more.1 vote -

Option to turn off default app prompt
if you aren't going to give us the option to reject texts that aren't in our contacts list, then at least give us the option to turn off the default app prompt so we can continue to use Textra as our texting app even though another app is the primary app that will be doing the receiving and filtering

Thought cloud shaped convo bubbles
Thought cloud shaped convo bubbles would be awesome. just like the regular circle ones but with multiples circles on the tail instead of the regular tails. I think they could still go well with the minimalist look.

Chat folders
My boss always sends group texts to myself and 20 coworkers and whenever they reply I get a new thread. I wish there could be a way to create a folder for all texts from work separate from my personal texts.

Confirm send option
i find myself sometimes sending a text to the wrong person and its often someone i REALLY dont want to receive that message. is there any way you could add a safety setting on individual contacts that would show a confirmation notice such as "you are about to send a message to your boss...are you sure you want to do this?" "Press *7 to confirm and send or # to cancel"

Auto Reply
There should be a way to have an auto reply feature similar to out of office e-mail messages so that way if I am doing something where I can't reply right away, I can notify people who text me with an auto response so they don't think I am ignoring them

How does one find Textra premium?
I tried looking in the Google Play store and on the settings in the app, and I can't find it. I do not want ads on my primary sms.
