  1. Custom Group Names/Sounds

    Please add the ability to give custom names for groups of 3 or more for quick messaging without needing to pull up past conversations, as well as the ability to use a specific notification sound for each.

  2. Message timestamps visible for every message

    Timestamps in a chat are intermittent displayed within the chat and it is inconvenient to tap the message and hit info to get this. Please add an option to show timestamps next to or in every message. The size and format for the timestamps that do appear are fine.

  4. Block list Area Codes

    Block list: allow user entry of specific area codes blocking any sms/mms from any number within that prefix. This eliminates the need to constantly block list numbers from the same area (or that use virtual numbers) hundreds of times for the same message.

  5. Create a Reminder from a Message

    I would love to be able to long-press on a message and select 'Create a Reminder'. Doing so will create a new Google Reminder with the message as the text. All I'll have to do is pick a date and time, then save it.

    This will be an extremely useful feature for someone who lives out of their reminders like me.

  6. Partiallly Delectable Text

    I'd like to be able to copy partial messages according to the drag and copy function that is available in most formatting applications. As of now, only the entire message can be selected before pasting in another place. For example, someone sent me a message today that had an address on the end that I wanted to copy and paste into my address book. But, the only option was to select the entire message, copy it, and paste the entire message into my address book, just to then be burdened with deleting the rest of the message. which essentially takes…

  11. groups or folders?

    It would be nice to be able to create a group or folders that would hold texts that have a common theme, such as family or work or bicycling buddiess

    That would make it easier to find certain groups of people

  12. Send full res Photos and Videos

    The app Next Messages allows sending full resolution images and videos through a direct link where they upload it to their hosted website and allow people to view and download it for a certain amount of days.

    I like your app better overall for simplicity but that feature should be here as it's amazing.

    At the very least why not have a Google drive option or other cloud service options to send full res photos or videos that can't compress into an mms.

    Please consider any alternative then us needing to use a different app to send files uncompressed.

  13. Option to change text color in conversations

    We can change the bubble colors, however half the colors are very difficult. As the white text blends into the bubble. Pleas add an option to change the text color for conversations.

    100 Earth, is it not an option to put the unread messages? Set the top of the list? Is insane to me. Thanks get lost buried

  15. Make quick reply emoji list customizable

    It would be great if the user has more control over which emojis are shown in the quick-reply emoji list. For instance, I would like to be able to add the 💯 and 😥 emojis and remove a couple I never use. Thanks.

    Even some more simple options, such as additional font options, gradient options, and even some new and additional sound options for stuff like sending, receiving and any other sounds having to do with the app WUD be really great too! Thx!

    I use my phone for everything. My job, my business, and personal. it would be great to be able to assign Contacts to there respective category. This is the ONLY reason I don't use Textra. I love this app but it's hard to find my contractor when my sister and brother keeps send messages. please consider this.

    It would be great if you could make it so that we can delete sent messages before they are read.
    I just read an article talking about how Google has added this to their message app
