  2. New conversation (recent and pinned)

    When starting new conversation it lists favorites. Should show recent conversations and pin conversations as well.

  3. Dismiss Bubble without clearing notification

    When I dismiss/close the bubble (maybe it's in a stack with other bubbles), it also clears the notification. I like to keep notifications around until I have time to deal with them and sometimes the bubbles are in the way.

  4. Activating a message later

    I have not found a chance to mark a read message unread or to re-send it at a set time in the future. Sometimes a message should be remembered at a later moment. Any chance for these features?

  5. Opening Links

    Please create a setting to allow users to have links automatically open when clicked. it's really irritating to have to perform two actions just to open a link. It was better before.

  6. notification icons

    I'm sure you've got this email before from some others but I'm submitting it to. can you add more notification icons to Textra. the ones you gave are good but more variety would be nice. I dunno how hard it would be to do it but you really should add more. thanks

  8. Notification Icon COLOR

    Notification icon colors are much more discernable on the Always on screen and notification bar of android devices.

    With my glasses off, such as already in bed, I can tell the difference between colors for critical notification icons better than an array of small white, blurry, unique icons.

  9. Different bubble colors in dark mode

    It would be great if we could specify different colors for bubbles based on whether you're using light mode or dark mode. Sometimes a color looks great in one mode but not the other!

  10. Add blocklist to settings backup

    when I change phones my general settings for Textra come over to the new device but blocklist does not. there should be a way to migrate that as well or at least manually export and import. also need a way to block sms from emails completely, smishing is getting out of hand!

  11. Blocklist all numbers in a spammy texts

    Getting a lot of spam text that include 20 separate numbers of people I do not know, and simply blocking the sender fails to block the subsequent (and inevitable, unfortunately) STOP texts from many of the included numbers, hoping to stop the spam texts from being sent. Since I don't know any of the included numbers, it would be ideal to mass-block all the attached numbers in the text.

  14. Ability to name Group Chats

    I know an MMS group chat can't be technically named, but could a feature be added where we can at least give a nickname to each group chat? It can be confusing trying to figure out which exact group chat I'm looking for without names

  15. Backup Messages

    currently I use another app to save a backup copy of my messages. it would be cool if Textra offered the same service. a way to backup messages and you can put them on Google drive or an external device that way you can always restore them should something happen to your phone. if this was offered as a paid service after a certain amount of text messages where you could pay an extra two bucks if you have over 50,000 messages or something I would purchase it.

  18. Block e-mail addresses from being able to text you.

    find a way to block those annoying spam e-mail addresses from being able to "text" you. Like just block e-mail texts all together.
