  1. removing or adding a person to a group chat

    I find it difficult I have to start a whole new chat with adding a person or removing a person to a group chat.

  2. Have tapback available to android, Samsung, users!!!

    Google calls it RCS. IPhone calls it tapback. Whatever its called I want to be able to hit an emoji on the incoming message without sending a new message.

  3. Preview images before sending

    Sometimes there are pics that are very similar, would like to zoom on the one I attached to make sure it's the right one. Gallery view also is sometimes sorted in a different order from the picture selection menu in Textra. A zoom capability on the attached pic before sending would be helpful. Thanks!

  4. Wallpaper & Responses

    It would be nice to be able to customize individual chats and group chats with our own images.
    It would also be nice to be able to add sticker responses like google messages instead of being limited to the same five responses and undo a text or even edit it like one is able to in imessage

  5. Mute Reactions

    I would like an option to mute reactions such as liked a post, loved an image, etc., without muting the entire conversation. Group messages are extremely annoying now with constant reaction notifications after a single message.

  7. separate folder for 2fa texts

    I get like at least 3 texts a day with codes to log into different websites, and then there are those texts from the cell phone provider. I want a folder for messages from contacts and a folder for unsaved numbers.

  9. Please do not implement RCS!

    The lack of RCS support is why I'm using textra. If it is implemented, please make it optional!! I don't want other people deleting messages they have sent me from my phone.

  10. Custom Contact Notification Icon

    hello, prior to a recent update, the notification icon style would adopt any custom themes for an individual contact and use that as the notification icon. for example, my thread with my mom is a different color (pink) than my default color, and anytime she texted me the notification icon that popped up on my lock screen would be pink (so I instantly knew it was her w/o having to look at the name). similarly, I have my partner's picture in his contact and when he texts me his picture used to be the notification icon. please bring that feature…

  12. Find a workaround to bring back colored (customizable, even), notification icons!!

    I realize it was removed due to new Google Play Store requirements and Android changes, but there must be a way to have our color notification icons back!
    I wud love to take it a step further & be able to choose our own colors & even out own icons (preferably from other icons packs we've already bought and own or that are already on our phones/ systems. After all they're just .png files.

  18. Bookmark and reminder

    Allow ability to bookmark messages and also to setup a follow-up reminder on certain messages. For example if you make a bet on the outcome of a weeks 2 weeks in the past you can set the message to send notification when custom time (2 weeks in this case) has expired.

    Please make it possible to block people. Blacklisting is not blocking. Even when a thread is blacklisted, someone can still be in group texts.
