    I wish you would update this app for the wallpaper and background so I could say it different backgrounds for different people instead of black I know you can change the header and the text color but the background

    I've reverted back to my stock Samsung messenger because it has automatic blocking of spam. Pretty disappointing that Texted is so far behind with this

  3. Mark messages as Unread and Create Folders

    it would be great if I could Mark messages as unread after viewing them, and also sort by unread messages. I realize that you can pin conversations but that can quickly take up the entire screen. How about being able to create folders for sorting messages?

  4. Date formatting

    Hi, I live in Australia, our date format is DD/MM/YY. Date format for messages doesn't seem to be changeable from MM/DD/YY Can we have the date format changeable please?

  5. Block messages by keywords

    I get a lot of spam, and though I add the sender to the Blocklist they out smart it by sending again and again from different numbers or IDs.
    These messages have some word combinations that repeat. If I could block messages with these word combinations, it would be great.

  6. Text security PIN/screen

    Need upfront four digit PIN to have security from prying eyes. Simply present a number screen for entry, confirmation of PIN, and the screen sits on digital screen until correct PIN entered. Probably 4-6 tries before ?

  7. Separation of Personal / Business

    Would be nice to be able to have a choice of seeing personal messages or business messages separately instead of combined. Google messages gives you the option to choose between the two.

  8. Bubble notification when other person is texting

    It would be great if a bubble message popped up under the chat conversation to let us know that the other person is texting us back! Thanks!

  12. Good app, but needs more modern features.

    (Textra Messages app), is good Sms/Mms is good,but need more modern features like

    *This app badly needs a Windows PC to android app, for easier using Sms on user friendly full PC  screen.

    *Better MMS compression group options to send large video files in group, with confirm delivery reports.

    *Better  Sms/MMS  backup and transfer options.  Cheers.

  14. Color code icon SIM1 vs SIM2

    Please use different colors for the SIM1 and SIM2 icons.
    Easy to accidentally press the SIM selector, hard to read the number on the SIM icon, resulting in accidental send from wrong SIM. Using different icon color for SIM1 vs SIM2 is simple elegant solution.

  17. Lock meesages to prevent being accidentally deleted

    I pin my husband's text conversation to the top of the list. Unfortunately, I've accidentally deleted that conversation (or others that aren't pinned) more than once. I would love for the app to have the capability to lock either a conversation or specific messages so that can't be deleted accidentally. Unfortunately, I've selected multiple conversations without noticing and then quickly double clicked the trash can and deleted ones I didn't want to delete. Maybe the deletion process takes more than one step? Or you have to put in a code to unlock a conversation or message that you have previously…

    it is difficult to recognize new messages. currently they are bolded, but it would be nice to have some customization for highlighting new messages.

  19. please let us block messages that contain keywords we have added to a list.

    Many of us get phishing or spam saying things like, Netflix is locked, or, fed-ex has a package...
    We should be able to put words like Netflix, fed-ex, Scotiabank & other common spam message words into a list that would block or automatically delete messages containing those words.
    Even better would be if we could block them unless the sender is in our address book.

  20. snoo,e Snooze messages

    It would be nice to be able to snooze a message so it would pop back up with a notification after a set amount of time. If I read a message but don't have time to respond right then, I tend to forget about it.
